Dany said as she started digging through her bag. “Yes mom I’m sure I need him or I can’t sleep a wink!!” Christian shouted through the phone. Dany pulled out a little stuffed dog animal that was the size of Quinn’s hand. “Ohh shoot. You’re right I found him. Well can’t you sleep with one of your other animals that you have at dad’s?” She asked him. “What?? That would be a horrible thing to do to doogal mommm!” Christian yelled. Dany frowned. But Quinn was loving every second of their interaction. He had a huge smile on his face. Normally it was Dany who got a kick out his and Sawyer’s conversations. So he was loving every second of this.

Instead of heading to the Sawyer pack's center, the car was now heading toward the Gronya pack. When the door was pulled open, I immediately saw Danny standing in the night. He was clad in a long black trench coat, his silver-white hair ruffled by the night wind. His eyes were cold and distant, like a winter blizzard in the North. As the Alpha of the Gronya Pack, he was terrifyingly powerful. Seeing me, he smirked. "Welcome." I pushed down the turmoil of emotions rising in my chest and asked in a low voice, "You're not surprised to see me?"

“I’m Danny, who are you?” The memory of his parents’ death flew back to him. “My family,” he choked, “They’re gone.” “They weren’t wolves,” a female whispered. “Look at his blue eyes!” “But he’s one of us,” a male quickly countered. “You saw him.” “Smell him.” The boy named Danny held up his hand. “We’ve heard of this happening.” To Darrell, he asked again, “Who are you? What’s your name?” He felt the cold earth under his palms as he supported himself, sitting up. “Darrell Grey.”

It wasn't a big deal why people were throwing stones at Shania. “Travis, let's find the rat,” Danny said, turning to Travis. “Already on it,” Travis replied, showing Danny his iPad. Of course, Danny was going to make the person who did this suffer.

Seth called out as Alex walked over to stand beside him. Alex looked over at Danny, who was leaning against the passenger side door of the F-250. He was wearing a Mossy Oak camo hat and a black tank top. Perhaps a bit too light for April, but he never cared. In fact, it was the sort of outfit he seemed to wear all year round. “Where’ve you been today?” Alex asked Danny. Danny just rested himself against the truck door casually with his hands hanging in his pockets. There was no way he had been sick earlier. “Oh you know,” he began with a grin. “Couldn’t afford to come to school today.”

“Misty, I want you to move.” I looked past her, so I could take a look at Danny, who had an amused smile on his face as he observed the situation. He was only two years older than Tiago, but he seemed to have matured a lot. He looked more muscular, bigger, and unlike Tiago, he seemed fearless. “Musty, move aside and let my friends go through.” Danny finally spoke up. Misty let out an offended scoff and stepped aside, so Panther and I could make our way through.

"Sheldon! Oh my God! What are you doing to him?" His black eye, the bloody nose and the busted lip—I took it all in with horror. New bruises were forming on his wrists. "Come, baby doll. Look what we have here for you." Danny said lazily, resting an arm over his bent knee. As far as I knew, he was second-in-command to Jason. "What do you mean for me?" I looked up with confusion. "We took your revenge, duh. You're welcome," Anton chimed in from beside Danny. He had blue hair and more piercings than I could count.

"Sure," She said, wiping away her lip gloss. I lean in close so only she can hear. "So is the tattoo parlor. I own Bad Dawg Tats, all four of them. Danny? He's a werewolf, too. I draw them, and he makes them come to life." Her mouth dropped open.

He covered his face while he shuddered uncontrollably. “How dare you, Harvey?!” exclaimed Danny with a vengeful expression. “You want to be a criminal?! “You’re finished! You’re done for!” Before Danny could even stand up, Harvey took another step forward and slapped him in the face. Danny screamed in pain while he was sent flying once again.
