A story about the girl who wants to escape from her life. She wants to find peace and forget everything that happened to her. In the new life and world that she's trying to build, she will meet a man who will make her feel so loved. But her past will chase her back to the nightmare she don't want to remember.

Xavier was Islet's safety pin, he used to be the one protecting her, he was her best friend, and could have been her everything, not until one day, Xavier gave Islet a cold shoulder. She could never understand why. He started treating her indifferently, and that made her lose all her control. Her mind was in turmoil and thought that parties and alcohol is the only way out of her personal issues. Her parents had enough of her and resort to marrying her off to someone, and it turned out to be Xavier! She thought that they were conspiring against her, she was angry, no, she is indeed furious! All she wants was attention, but she is always misunderstood. The marriage was supposed to bring her peace, but she felt lost. She wanted to escape but she was under Xavier's claws. When she finally did, Xavier came chasing after her, declaring his undying love. Will she accept his love or would she rather run away and chase after peace?
