“Uh ah,” Peter rescued her face and took the phone from her hand, selecting the speaker with technological expertise that was impressive considering his nails. “Speaker, girl, speaker.”
“Okay, Peter,” Emily said apologetically.
“Peter?” Megan asked.
“At the moment,” Peter replied, fluttering his eyelashes. “You may call me God.”
“Peter,” Emily giggled. “It is my sister. You are on speaker, Meg. I am getting done for a shoot.”
