The Perfect Lie
“More handsome than the last time I saw you,”
My eyebrows raised and smiled sheepishly. “So, you recognize me?”
She nodded. “If Tara could paint in the sky, the sky would probably be filled with your face,” She joked, rolling her eyes. “Please take a seat,”
I chuckled, but wondered what she meant by it, and then sit on the sofa. I looked at the walls, and they needed repainting, too. Actually, the whole house needs renovation, but it is something I had to keep to myself. I focused on the painting displayed on the wall, and the one that caught my attention was their family portrait. I stood up, walked near it, and studied the painting.
