Cazriel’s POV The first thing that caught my eyes wasn't the blood, no. It was the way the snow heated up, burning and hissing from the impact of the boy's skin. I saw as steam seeped from his skin, and inside me, something deadly and ancient stirred, baring its teeth at the sight not from anger, no, but from raw, primal hunger. With fucking need and desire.

Now he was my only support who could show me the light out of this hideous place. "W-w-who are you?" I stuttered, looking at him. "I'm the last person alive in this place, Anderson Parkmerg. Except for me, she killed all of them in her heart-wrenching game." With that clever glance, he smirked at me and asked. "Aren't you curious to know about this place?" I stayed quiet, but he started telling the story with a grin.

He growled, tangling his hand in my hair. "Maybe I want to see you lose control." I whispered, looking into those gorgeous eyes of his. A rustle in the bushes and footsteps made us both turn sharply, my eyes widened as Hunter fell to his knees the moment he burst from the bushes. "Hunter!" I exclaimed as we both turned. The smell of blood filled the air as his eyes flashed. My eyes widened in horror as I saw the blade buried in his hip. "Run." He growled as the fire was suddenly snuffed out, and I felt a thick layer of darkness fall over us.

Wincing in pain, Hunter craned his head only to see Michael with his gun pointed at his forehead. “Dad?” He muttered but Michael gestured him to seal his mouth. Hunter was confused but did as he said. Soon, the blaring of sirens blaring and footsteps followed as cops came in droves and encompassed the entire area. Dylan was grinding his teeth as the pain turned excruciating. Blood seeped out of his wound squeezing the life out of his body. He started fading in and out of consciousness because the blow was deadly. Over the years, Brandon had honed his skills to become a true sniper. He knew the most delicate and weak points of the human body and thus his shots were fatal.

We eyed each in the dim light, and I felt he was taking his time to measure me. I leaped again. We tumbled together, and for several long moments, we rolled and flailed, biting and growling. The hunter's teeth pierced my shoulder, and I took a chunk out of his neck. The taste of his blood in my mouth was incredible—hot, tangy. I felt his essence in every nerve ending. For a split second, I paused as I was confused about the sensation of feeling my enemy by just the taste of their blood. The Hunter used my hesitation against me as he rolled, pinning me beneath his weight. I was wedged between the branches of a fallen tree, and I couldn’t buck him off. I couldn’t even reach him with my teeth,

I watched for a moment before walking toward my door. As I was shutting it, I heard Elena whisper, “Go get your man, Auntie.” I shook my head. That girl was a disaster walking, and I absolutely adored the organized chaos that was Elena. I quietly crept down the stairs before slipping out the back door and into the forest. I stopped beneath his tree, looking up, scanning the tree for him but not finding him. “I know you’re here, ‘Sprey. I can feel you.” He sighed as he swung himself down out of the tree. “Hey, Scarlett. I was just leaving. I was hunting a squirrel. They’re fast and good to hunt to keep myself fresh and-”

And he instantly gripped my semi hard dick through my pants, as punishment. I went wide-eyed. My body responded instantly. "This is just the beginning." Blood rushed downwards alone. Every single part of my body was flooded with heat. Without fail. Despite my reluctance. His touch burned through me. And it ignited something that I had hopelessly been trying to suppress. Killing them was usually just as hard, though. “So who was the hunter?” I asked, shuffling back in my seat. “Esther – that was my girlfriend – was searching for a witch to help her undo the curse. Who better to track down a witch than a woman trained to do so from birth?” He shrugged. “That was when I met Steph. Stephanie,” he corrected, and then he frowned to himself, as though admonishing himself for rudely using her nickname. “She was very much like you. Though she didn’t have the spark of passion that you do, Callie. She was more... clinical. By the book.”

Barbara stretched her hands and he pulled her up. “Nice job, babe.” They kissed briefly and continued their stealthy walk in the wasteland. Barbara turned and saw Ray’s fenced house only a few meters away. “We did i-“ Stephen didn’t hear the sound of the gun but his eyes didn’t miss the blood that spurted out from Barbara’s mouth. For a moment, she stood wobbly. Then he heard the sound. A second shot. Barbara fell to her knees and more blood gushed out. Stephen ducked a bullet targeted at him and fell beside the wounded Barbara.
