Wala naman siyang gagawin kaya matutulog na lang siya. Bago tuluyang nahiga sa kama, nag-hot shower muna siya saka nagbihis ng oversized T-shirt bago pinahiran ng lotion ang mga binti at braso. Nilagyan din niya ng moisturizer ang mukha at pinapatuyo ang basang buhok gamit ang tuwalya. Hindi siya nakontento kaya kumuha na siya ng blower.

Putting the stopper in, I turned on the water. Thankful that this time the knob didn’t come off in my hand. I moved to the little basket that sat on the counter, picking up a bottle of bubble bath. Dumping the contents under the running water, I sat down in the bathtub watching the bubbles swirl up as steam filled floated above the water. I turned off the water and leaned back, letting out a soft moan. This was heaven and I was going to enjoy a long bubble bath before heading to bed. ***Dom POV***

The only window was a tiny window that was too far for me to reach. I looked out the window in the bathroom sometimes since it was bigger but it was too high as well. “Okay, I'll prepare your bath.” Penny said and walked to the wall and opened the bathroom. I got out of my clothes and went in after her. In a few minutes, she was done filling the tub and I got in. I grabbed the body wash and poured a generous amount and started to wash off. I smiled as the familiar scent of bubblegum hit me. Was it weird that my bodywash scented like bubble gum?

I guess it wasn’t just my decision to stay back. Feeling in the mood for a long bath instead of a shower, I draw a warm bath for myself and throw in some scents and bath bombs. The water is refreshing on my skin, soothing the sore muscles that I had from walking around in the mall. When my skin starts to prune after a while, I rinse off my body and wash my hair, before stepping out to pat my body dry.

Her bright, sing song voice was slightly muffled under the noise of the running water. A short while later, Etta reappeared. "All ready. I wasn't sure what kind of bubblebath you would like so I picked one that matches your scent." She smiled and made her way to leave. "See you later, Bestie." She sang as she left. Annalise limped to the bathroom. The bubbles were almost to the lip of the tub, so invting. She gingerly stripped off the pyjamas and unwound the bandage from her knee.

I wondered how much longer I'd be able to keep the secret from Bapi. "You were saying something about poppies?" I probed, finishing off the tea and placing the cup on the ground. "Oh, yes. So, I went on a walk, last night, and I found a few poppy flowers in the poppy fields out at the edge of the town," he said, the usual playfulness in him mitigated. "You're drunk, aren't you?" He shook his head, chuckling. "No, you don't understand! I saw opium poppies."

She wanted him to relax and just let his hair down for one night. Troy always did the dishes when dinner was over and Reese used that time to fill the jacuzzi tub in their bathroom. She added a special blend of bubble bath she’d mixed and she inhaled it deeply. She’d used extracts of the Madden flower and Eucalyptus and Mint. The smell was extraordinary but not girly and she was sure it would help Troy shut off, even if it was just for half an hour. The steam in the bathroom was thick and Reese undressed as she heard Troy close their bedroom door.
