“Mack, we have to talk.” “About?” he asked as he took a step closer to her. He then saw the three long tubes on the sink counter. He looked at her and then back at them. “I’m pregnant.” She said. “What?” he asked as he looked back down and realized the tubes that she had been staring at were pregnancy tests. There were three different kinds. He looked at them closely, and there were two lines on one of them. There was a plus on another. The one that had the word pregnant on it with a number that made no sense. It said sixteen plus. He looked at her to tell him something.

Jax whispered. “There is metal littered all over this field.” He nodded, and I released him, keeping the others in stasis. Jax picked up a large stick and began to poke the ground. A large steel-clawed trap snapped off the end of the stick. “Bear traps. These are lethal. Maximum damage.” Jax tripped ten of them immediately around us, having to collect another stick.” “Can you see them?”

We had a chance, a glimmer of hope in the face of this monstrous threat. The chosen location for the trap was a clearing deep within the forest, far from any populated areas. There definitely must be some inferior motive. Maybe it's just me, but like I said before, I'm having a hard time believing in people nowadays. No matter how I see it, I can't let myself believe he is doing all this out of humanity. Why would he take the risk to free me when he could get him in trouble? At the end of the day, he is involved in illegal stuff and I can easily go to the police and report their names. A part of me still believes that they are trying to trap me and this is all a scheme. Like I have seen in so many movies where shit like this happens and, in the end, it just happens to be a trap.
