I immediately let out an unrestrained scream of pain as I look down to see Timothy's left front paw caught in a trap. The two teeth are stuck like two chopsticks in a bread wrap, in a way that restraints movement and makes even breathing an excruciating task, so we freeze in spot with the paw suspended in midair. “How is this possible? I didn't detect the trap until I’d run right into it,” Timothy voices in my head while I try to scrutinize the trap. “That’s because it's not an ordinary trap, it has very intense concealing black magic,” I note as my eyes darken as they follow the trails of the thick dark aura surrounding it.

Jax whispered. “There is metal littered all over this field.” He nodded, and I released him, keeping the others in stasis. Jax picked up a large stick and began to poke the ground. A large steel-clawed trap snapped off the end of the stick. “Bear traps. These are lethal. Maximum damage.” Jax tripped ten of them immediately around us, having to collect another stick.” “Can you see them?”

"That's why they all let their guard down, so that they could lure us here." Luna nodded her head. "Damn!" Jack exclaimed. "This is a very dangerous trap.
