The Forbidden Romance

The Forbidden Romance

He kept pulling, his eyes fixed on the chains. Suddenly, there was a loud crack, and Liam stumbled backward, surprised. He looked at the chains in amazement, and to his delight, he saw that one of the links had broken. He blinked, squinting at the sight to make sure he wasn’t seeing things. He thought his sight might be playing tricks on him or maybe it was something made up by the night. But his sight wasn’t playing tricks and he knew that when he felt for it. To his shock, it had really loosened!

Just then, Brian came in with the others and we all consoled her, soon she stopped crying. "Baby I got something for you, "Brian said revealing a charm bracelet with over five charms on them. One I noticed signifies Ava and Alexis, another one was a doll with "Type 1 diabetics insulin dependent " written in a tiny font on it. And three other charms. "Do you like it? " "Yes daddy, I love it. " "Daddy got me one too, "Alexis said showing her own to her sister, it had the same charms but no inscription written on it.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

She pointed to the dark, jagged line down the center of the painting. "That's the rust," she said. "That's the part that hurts." "And the gold chain?" Vance asked. "The one in the center?" "It's broken," Hope said. "It was my mom's. She broke it a long time ago, when things were bad." "Why put a broken thing in the center of the art?" Hope looked at the jury. She saw the woman with gray hair nod slightly. "Because the broken part is what holds it together," Hope said. "If the chain was perfect... it wouldn't be true. We aren't perfect. We're just... holding on."

THE SILVER LINING

THE SILVER LINING

Kaelen cautioned as his thumbs pushed into the links, increasing pressure. The chains trembled, and for an instant, all seemed to wait with bated breath. But then, a gruesome cacophony rent the silence—something similar to the breaking of a thousand strands simultaneously. A howl tore from Miyal's throat, but not his. It was the chains, as they started to break, the black power churning and screaming in the air like the chains themselves were alive, fighting being let go.

Chains of Gratitude

Chains of Gratitude

T he crowd burst into applause, and every eye in the room turned to me. Lucien's gaze was full of love, waiting for me to join him on stage. Suddenly, a massive crash erupted in the ballroom. The immense champagne tower beside me came down with a roar. The champagne tower beside me toppled, glass shattering in a violent cascade. Cold liquid soaked my skin as shards bit into me. Screams echoed, guests scattering. I couldn't move. Any step sent pain lancing through me.

Broken.

Broken.

Like a fool for love, I concluded in my mind to dial Roderigo, seeking any opportunity that would bring us back together. The first two dails were hung up, the 3rd and 4th one were left to ring until the call ended, I tried making one last attempt but his phone was switched off. This only got me more desperate and hurt. I felt to be put out of this mean world. ************* Bip!!! bip!!! bip!!! bip!!! bip!!! bip!!! The alarm bipped nonstop that I had to hit it till it made no more noise. It was now I was beginning to regain my consciousness.

My Ex Wants Me Back, No Way!

My Ex Wants Me Back, No Way!

My muscles strained, and I could feel the tension building. The pain was intense, but I refused to give up. I focused all my energy on breaking free, imagining the chains snapping apart. My vision blurred slightly from the effort, but I kept going, pushing myself harder and harder. And then, something incredible happened. I felt the chains give way, just a little at first, but then more and more. My bare hands, against all odds, began to break the chains. I pulled harder, feeling a surge of strength and determination. The chains creaked and groaned, and finally, with a loud snap, they broke apart. I stumbled back, almost in disbelief, my hands still trembling from the effort.

Wolfbitten

Wolfbitten

Every moment I had felt like I wasn’t enough. Flames surged again, scorching the metal until it glowed like embers in a fire. We continued, doing the same thing over and over again. Going at it until finally, Terri roared as she pulled with all her strength. The metal groaned, until, with a sharp crack, it gave way. Clunk. The broken chain crashed to the floor. I gasped. We both shook with barely contained energy. Our eyes flooded with excitement. It worked. We didn’t have time to celebrate, not yet. I immediately turned to the next restraint.

This book is so good and the writing is superb! This is the 4th book in the series and it is just as amazing as the other 3. If you haven’t read them, I would suggest reading the other 3 first before reading this one so you will get to know the characters. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

Broken Chains The silver cuffs around Marcus’s wrists popped open like ice cracking on a winter pond, just like that, no warning, no ceremony. Holy energy, rolling up from the guts of the castle, fried the corrupted metal and sizzled away the poison tubes jammed into his arms. Steam hissed, chains hit the ground with a sparkly little crash, and suddenly he was free.
