Promise Her Anything Novels & Stories

“I mean, Princesa, if I wear it, if I accept it, in turn I will call on you to grant me one wish, and when I ask for this favour, you will not break this oath.” Her heart is thundering as she stares at me, her eyes full of emotion. “To promise something so blindly… is that what you truly want from me in return?” “Yes. But the choice is yours. Do you wish for me to accept this prosthetic?” She nods hesitantly. She’s smart and I know she’s pondering all the cons, but I know her… she will agree. “Very well then, I will promise to grant you one wish. I am certain you will not ask for something that will hurt me.” She looks down, her breasts rising and falling rapidly.

Now, she felt something entirely different. Peace. Power. Freedom. She whispered into the wind, not as a prayer, but as a promise: “I’m still here.” And with that, she turned and walked toward the lights of the city, ready to begin again.

“What? You did not clarify which promise you were referring to. I have made a lot of them to you, you know.” “I meant your promise to take me to the party tonight and help me start to make some new friends.” “Oh, that one. Of all the promises to hold me to, that is the one you want me to keep? That is so boring! Can’t you at least consider my promise to f---" “Brady Hyder!” He chuckled and held out his hand. “Come on, my lady. We have a party to get you to.” .

Sol asked me, and I nodded. "Can you tell me about them?" I shook my head, and he let it go. "Maybe I will, one day, but not tonight. I promise," I told him. I felt him kiss the top of my head as he whispered, "Take your time. I'm always waiting for you." ###

He looked at her and she immediately took that as a sign to step in. “Claire, we have to make sure grandmama is in good health first before everything else, okay? We’ll go on the beach trip once everything’s settled,” She assured her despite her not knowing if will even fall through. “You promise?” She gave both of them the puppy eyes. Kai licked his lips, briefly glancing at her before looking at their daughter with a smile on his face. “Promise, my love.” Then she looked at her mom who’s watching them, not knowing how to react.

"It's Carmilla—she drank and drank until her stomach bled to win you support. She pleaded and begged to keep you in business. "Even after you lost the shipment worth millions on that international deal with Lorenzo, he still worked with you because of Carmilla. She knelt and banged her head bloody to get you another chance. You should thank her." The conference room fell silent; eyes flicked between Mario and Carmilla. "She did all of that of her own free will," I said, looking straight at the man. "That's right. She did those things willingly. I didn't ask her to do them for me. My wife is Alessia. No matter what Carmilla did, the woman I love is Alessia." Mario's voice trembled as he spoke

I reached for him, but he'd already turned away. The door slammed shut, leaving me alone among scattered petals. I crossed to the fireplace and fed the ruined white roses to the flames. The petals curled, blackened, and turned to ash, like our love. I thought Ryder would let it go after my outright refusal, that he might reconsider. After all, we'd been unshakable until then. We were fated mates, blessed by the Moon Goddess. But two days later, a courier delivered an unmarked package. I opened it to find the pregnancy test results from the infirmary.

“They’re not examining Sophia tomorrow. Riccardo plans to switch the girls. Sareena’s being hidden and only a few people know she’s back.” His eyes narrow. “She took a ‘Voto Di Castità’ at her Confirmation. Do you know what that is?” I whisper. “She wears the ‘Anello Di Promessa Di Castità’ on her thumb. That vow? It means nothing goes inside her. Not even tampons. Not until she’s married before God.” Damian stiffens, choking slightly on his coffee.

He smiled a knowing grin that made my blood run cold. "It matters not how you feel about the situation my dear. Per the agreement between your mother and King Elirond many moons ago you are in fact the property of the Kingdom of Astraea. You, Calliope Silverthorne, are the promised child to the crown." My breathe went still as I processed his words. "Clara made a trade, your life for her freedom and we have come to collect". What did he mean I was the promised child? Did he just say my mother sold me? Where the hell is Astraea? And why did he say my last name my silverthorne? None of this makes any sense. I was starting to lose focus, whether it be from the freezing cold box I was in or the

Burying my face in my arm, I closed my eyes and let the tears fall. “Let me help. Let me do something…please…” I shook my head. “Lo único que puedes hacer por mí es dejarme ir.” [The only thing you can do for me is to let me go.] His hand froze on my back, and I could feel it clench slightly. “No sé si puedo prometer eso.” [I don’t know if I can promise that.] Smiling and chuckling this time, I lifted my head up and looked back at the dancers twirling to the music.“No cumples las promesas de todos modos.” [You don’t keep promises anyways.]
