Pyramid Head X Nurse 소설 & 이야기

she asked hurriedly. The nurse tilted her head in thought. "No, I didn't see anyone standing there. But I did notice a man in a wheelchair passing by." At the mention of the man, a flicker of admiration crossed the nurse's eyes. He was, without a doubt, the most handsome man she had ever seen—if only he weren't disabled. "Oh," Phoebe murmured, glancing at the door again. A strange feeling stirred in her chest. She didn't understand why, but she had an inexplicable hunch—was it because, just before she lost consciousness, she had caught the faintest trace of a familiar scent?

The head nurse sighed in empathy, understanding her frame of mind. There were barely any medical staff who hadn’t seen Kiara being restless for her boy to gain consciousness soon. Nurse Thea was no different; being the head nurse and in charge of Aaron’s case in absence of doctors, she had had multiple conversations with Kiara and Sister Mary, thus this woman knows their depth of sentiments for the little boy the most.

a cheerful voice asked from beside her. Spirit blinked and looked up. A young woman about her age stood there, holding a tray of syringes. She had bright, friendly hazel eyes, messy brown hair tied back in a loose clip, and a crooked, welcoming smile. Her scrub top was slightly wrinkled, and her badge read Nurse Chloe Davies – Resident. “Is it that obvious?” Spirit sighed, rubbing her temples. “Honey, you look like you’re plotting a murder, and around here, Dr. Voss is usually the target,” Chloe chuckled, extending a hand.

There was always a trade-off. A moment later, they saw the same nurse returning wheeling an old man with a bandage on his head. He looked pale, his dark skin taking on a grayish tinge. That was similar to the gray in his curly hair. “These folks would like to speak with you, Mr. Yates,” said the nurse in a cheerful tone. It was a decibel too sharp for Bodie’s sensitive hearing, and he almost shook his head.

"What hole did I get myself into, God?" She was dead tired; yesterday's shift felt like a marathon. She needed three things: strong coffee, ibuprofen, and a bed. She stopped at the only pharmacy in town, "Good Remedy." The attendant, a young woman with a face like she'd seen too much, recognized her right away. "You're the new nurse, right? The one who dealt with Ethan Callahan?" she asked, ringing up the ibuprofen. "Brave. Or crazy. Folks here say even the devil's afraid of him with a headache."

Chapter 025 POV(FREYA) Was it all a lie? I decided to close my eyes after an hour of doing nothing, but the door flung open again. Oh God, is this even a VIP ward when I have no privacy, it's everyone barging in every now and then without knocking. And there she was, a tangerine looking nurse. She had very tiny ears that stood out like an elf's, red or should I say pink? I was studying her face too much while she checked my condition, I used to be so full of life too. But now? The moment I get a little bit weak, I pass out.

After all, she was just a poor nurse, although she was working at one of the best and most expensive hospital of Ontario, but her salary was not sufficient to pay the bills. It was not just Mrs. Wade but other members of the hospital were also feeling bad because "Patient on Bed number 37 " have been a part of the hospital from past 7 years. She was a child...merely 12 or 13 years old when she was bought to the hospital. She had suffered from head injury and was rescued by a group of locals from the forest ,not far from the hospital.

"I don't know Mr. Knight. The doctor didn't tell me anything and I have never handled or seen such a case like this." "What do you mean by that? How could you not know?" His cold gaze directed at her. "I really don't know, Sir. I'm getting late. I should go!" The nurse was really scared of him. Well, why won't she be? He is after all The Xander Knight. He nodded his head and gestured her to go but not before saying, " Make sure she's alright!" The nurse quickly scurried away towards the emergency room. Poor her! He took his head in his hands and let out a frustrated sigh, he felt so helpless at this moment. He didn't know what to do.

His legs buckled; he almost collapsed before scrambling away like a kicked dog, not daring to look back. Only then did the Head Nurse withdraw her gaze. She pushed her cart forward and resumed her rounds. Even the squeaking wheels sounded gentler than before. [I'm dying—first time I've ever seen a monster protecting a human! This girl is a legend!] [Eight players left. Can that bald idiot get eliminated already? He's disgusting.] [Nurse lady is kinda cute actually…] [??? Checking previous commenter's mental status.] I stared at the small ceramic bottle in my hand, a strange feeling stirring inside me for the first time. My stomach growled, a sharp reminder of a need I had been ignoring.

She moves fast for a woman of her size. I am left alone in the quiet of the room, staring at the ceiling. The silence does not last long. The door creaks open again, and a nurse sticks her head inside. She looks like she has been running marathons all morning, her hair falling out of her ponytail and a stressed look in her eyes. "Miss Verity? Sorry to bother you," the nurse says, gripping the door handle. "You have someone here who wants to see you."
