[Rachel's POV] As I finished my evening sprint around the large compound, my mind was still filled with a whirlwind of emotions. Gabriel's call earlier had left me feeling lost and confused. She froze when she sensed me. Turning slowly, her eyes met mine. “Oh,” she said quietly. Something in my chest shifted.
