I drop and roll, kicking out and hitting his jaw, I feel the vibration of his bones shattering against my foot, the feeling making me shiver as I grab his leg and yank him down and I tell his body to stop breathing. I push off the grass, covered in mud just as 3 rogues surround me, I step back as they move in but as they smirk, looking at each other I jump, touching one and telling his body to kill his friends. His eyes widen as he turns and pounces on them, shocking them enough and giving me the chance to paralyse them.

“Where the fck is Diva?!*” he roared, eyes glowing fiery red, the shift barely being held back beneath his skin. “She—she stopped me before,” I stammered, “but I came out on my own!” His jaw clenched, nostrils flaring. He grabbed a rogue by the ankle—dragged it backward like a rag doll—then flung it forward with a bone-cracking slam that echoed like thunder. The rogue’s neck snapped on impact.

I sighed and I could feel my wolf push to the surface, enough to have control, but not enough for Link to be able to tell that she was there. "Oh, Ellie, there is no mistake. I am going to kill you and I am going to enjoy it," he chuckled and with that his fist collided with the cut on my side and his foot was behind my knee, dragging me to the floor before I could even beg for my life. I was pretty sure there was a crack as I landed and I had shattered my kneecap but the adrenaline was preventing any pain from actually reaching my brain at this moment in time. I then felt his powerful kick as he forced his foot into my stomach, winding me a little and really not helping with my breathing.

As blood splattered throughout the area, the rogue became limp. At the same time, the second and third rogues launched their attacks. Darius whirled, just evading a blow to his flank. With its fangs buried deep, the second rogue grabbed hold of his back leg. As the pain increased, Darius remained unflinching. Twisting violently, he knocked the rogue off balance and smashed it into a tree hard enough to break bone.

Simply described, they looked like monsters. Jordan stepped in front of me, his fur bristling. He was an Alpha; he was built for this. He lunged at the lead rogue, snapping his jaws, but the rogue swiped him across the shoulder with claws that looked like daggers. Jordan yelped, tumbling into the dirt. He scrambled up, but the other two were already closing in, their movements unnaturally fast.

Rogue glared at the dragon. The dragon glared back at Rogue initiating a staring contest between the two. Overwhelmed by grief Rogue pointed at the dragon's head and the same purplish beam was shot from his finger towards the dragon, the dragon took flight making the beam miss. A snarl manifested on Rogue's face, as he never expected the dragon to dodge the attack. “So infuriating, Come down now” Rogue articulated in a sinister tone reaching out to the dragon with his right hand. Gravity exacerbated around the dragon, bringing it crashing down on the snow floor creating another crater. The possessed Rogue wasn't done as he moved his hand up, then to the left and brought it down.

In this position, he has a free hand able to punch me in the head, the ribs, or the hip easily. Before he can do that, I drop my weight, throwing my arms up and sliding down his body and out of his hold. I spin quickly, swinging a leg out and knocking Alpha Quirin off his feet. I let the force of the spin keep me in motion as I rise back up to a standing position.

“We had an agreement. One night. The deal was for one night! One night, you bastard! Not for you to keep stalking my wife, taking her into alleys!” “You really can’t blame me,” Raguel interrupted, his eyes flicking toward the doorway where I stood trembling. A dark, predatory glint sparked in his eyes as they landed on me. “Your wife is quite delectable, Aaron. And as I’m sure you’ve realized, one taste simply isn’t enough.” With a roar of unthinking rage, Aaron lunged again, throwing his entire weight into a desperate attack. Raguel didn’t even seem to exert himself. He caught Aaron’s effortlessly, throwing him toward the hallway wall with a force that seemed impossible for a human.

Then another, until all the pins are gone from my hair and scattered on the ground and my hair is falling down my bare shoulders. "Move, Zoya," I think. "kick this mother fucker in the shin..." But my stomach was doing some weird flipping, and my legs were as stiff as a stubborn piece of clay. "Rule number one," the hand on my waist moves up to my zipper. "Gear for battle. Not pretty black gowns." That's when I move, the shock at what he's about to do spurring me into motion. I push Ragnar away with surprising strength. I stumbling back, the tension crackling between us like the fire that burned in the chimney.

Using my other hand, I grabbed the bar and yanked it toward me. Feeling that my legs were more stable, I used my bodyweight to roll to the side and pull the bar away from the rogue. The guy holding the whip also swung down, where I landed, but I continued to roll. Dust flew up in my face when the whip snapped against the concrete.
