“Good job princess.” I looked around seeing others walking into the woods. One man, a tall slim man dressed all in a black robe was burning something in the fire. The smell seemed to be white. I don’t know why white was the word that first came to me, maybe pure. I looked up at Nikko, “Is he a witch?” Nikko looked down at me, “a warlock maybe. I don’t think he would take kindly to you calling him a witch.” He arched his brow, “why Samantha are you a witch?”

Even if she had wanted to, Merlin doubted that she could speak, as the tale Aunt May told her stunned her into silence. The Cottard witches were the oldest and most powerful of the witches in the bayou, their history and heritage filled with secrets and legends, that were passed down through the generations. She cackled and soon the whole room was shaking and tilting on its own axis. Suddenly, fire shot out of the rod and Lucia was lucky enough to dodge it. This morning, we came to check on the living arrangements, and Mom thought it would be best to meet old friends and start spreading the news since I used to summon them from this same forest when I was younger, and I agreed. While they begin attacking the witches who made it through the portal, I focus on melting the magical ceiling.

The whole of the council is here, even the Chancellor, their leader, whose collar is decorated with an elaborate red trim, with red accents around all his golden flowers. I don't know which color is for which coven, but I know there are more than 8 coven's. there are at least 30. Their council rarely meets as a whole though, they make decisions for their region, calling on only those near by to help make these decisions.

THE STORM… Soon the rain started to come down. It was slow at first, a misty spray as the witches gathered. Skylar had brought the twins, Makayla and Makenzy with a few other witches.
