Raven Marvel Novels & Stories

“The flames you bear, the ones that brought you here, are part of a prophecy. They are a gift and a curse, a beacon of change that will shape the future of our kind.” Charlotte’s heart pounded as the woman’s words sank in. “What does that mean? Why me?” “Because you are her,” the woman replied, her tone reverent. “You are named for the harbinger of fate, the one who bridges the divide between worlds. The flames chose you for a reason.” The child like voice appeared again. It screamed in her ears, “RAVEN”.. RAVEN… She has heard that before…but where? The name sent a shiver through Charlotte, as if it resonated with a part of her she hadn’t known existed.

Celie gestured around the clinic they were in, "this happened." "No shit sherlock," Raven replied with a straight face. Then she discovered Celie was right, and she did not know how to feel. It was literally the worst time to bear children. And Raven, a wanted murderer, as a mother? That might be the most ridiculous thing on earth. Raven always knew what to do, yet three years ago, she had no idea. She escaped as a criminal to an empty, underdeveloped island that she planned to build and evolve. The child could change many, many things.

NARRATOR The great hall of Ravencrest was alive with anticipation, and the air seemed thick with energy, like the very stones of the building were holding their breath. The banners, draped in silver and blue, hung like silent sentinels, the colors a testament to the old bond between Rolan and Mara. Rolan, gone now, but not forgotten. Silver—the shade of his strength, and blue—Mara’s scars, which had come to define her as much as her resilience. Together, they wove a tapestry that was neither entirely victory nor defeat, but a complex, ever-shifting middle ground.

He was a werewolf, why should I care. “The demons in the area have found a way to bring about an infection that turns humans and wolves alike into demonic slaves. I need your help to find what is cause it.” He glanced at me, “Raven is the only one who can stop it, she has come into contact with the substance a few years ago and it did not affect her at all.” Dustin’s and my mouth fell open. I had been trying to find the source of this plague that was striking our people down, but I had no leads.

“And you haven’t let them down.” Raven lifted her head, searching his face, finding only truth in his eyes. “You scare them, you know?,” she said, a small smirk breaking through. “Good,” Ragnar replied, a playful edge in his voice as his thumb traced along her jaw. She laughed softly, the sound surprising even her, and Ragnar’s eyes warmed, the storm settling into something quiet, something safe. “They see us,” Raven said, her voice dropping lower, vulnerability slipping through her Alpha mask. “Together.”

I ignored it. The knock turned into a slam. Raven barged in like he owned the room, like fury had carried him past logic and restraint. Of course, he owned the room. His eyes, normally sharp, always observant were wild now, bloodshot, his chest heaving. I smirked into the mirror. "Did I say you could come in?" I asked, still holding the lipstick in my hand, perfectly poised to finish the curve of my mouth. "Marcel is dead. Thorne killed him."

“Ha. Really, man, you think they would choose the orphaned son of a whore and a rogue as the Amory? No, he will have to be chosen from better stock than me. We have never had a female Amory, maybe history is about to be made.” “Maybe it is me,” Raven says, coming out of the girls’ locker room while she tackles Bram. They have always had an interesting relationship. Not quite siblings, but so much more than friends. “God help us,” I mumble. But seriously, Raven is too emotional for that kind of responsibility. “I heard that, and you will pay,” Raven says as she jumps on my back, and we all start laughing. Ryeleigh turns to us back in her ceremonial dress, shocked.

Raven and Marcus Raven I shoveled the sandwich my mother had brought me into my mouth as we snuck to the back of the house. At first, the meat and bread had been too much for my parched throat to tolerate, but a couple glasses of water later, I was able to scarf it down. I had to fight back a moan from how amazing food tasted after two days of nearly no food. Lunar hummed inside of me, energized just enough to shift during our escape.

But Raven was different. “Unlike Rachael, Raven is a fighter. Everyone knows her name. She may not act like a normal woman, but she carries herself like no other woman in this house. She’s a warrior and still a woman.” Mother’s eyes hardened. “That is exactly why she will never bow to you!”

’ I cringe at the images she sends me of us doing exactly that with her tongue hanging out in glee. “I understand the enormity of what I am asking Raven. The Moonstone for your mate’s freedom. I will give you a few days to think it over and meet you back here. But understand this, Rafe is not the only one. The majority of my army is comprised of wolves that are manipulated. Do you know what it’s like to have your mind manipulated, Raven?” he doesn’t wait for me to answer as he continues with glee.
