The lady was surprised and confused when he suddenly cut her off. "Y-Yes? I think she placed it on her vanity area." He felt like he was being poured with a glass of cold water when his speculation was confirmed. Hyde remembered it when he went to the victim's vanity table. He remembered what it looked like. A bird darker than a crow, and usually eats flesh from dead animals. A bird that means DEATH... A CARRION CROW.

As the trio was lost in their shared moment, the atmosphere grew tense, an invisible thread of dread weaving through the night. Raven's keen instincts made her acutely aware of a chilling presence. Just beyond the halo of candlelight, a pair of eyes glowed menacingly, their crimson hue piercing the darkness. A shiver raced down her spine. The eyes held a predatory gleam, observing, calculating, and waiting.

“To end this foolish war. You and I both know this cannot last forever, Elara. Come to me—face me at the Black Hollow. We will settle this once and for all.” A shiver ran down my spine at the name. The Black Hollow was an ancient, cursed land, a place where the veil between realms was thinnest. Raven took a step forward, his expression darkening. “If you refuse, I will keep hunting you. I will destroy everything you have rebuilt. Your mother, your people, your precious Kael... I will burn them all.” A growl rose in my throat. “You’ll regret underestimating me.” He let out a low chuckle. “We’ll see.”

Alpha Kayden - POV The autopsy report Harris brought in arrived late, and I read through it in the library while he called someone to fix the shattered window. The findings were disturbing: Raven was indeed a werewolf, but her heart contained a dark core—an intensity unlike anything we’d seen before. It was similar to the aura we found in the abandoned Night Angel pack building, yet this one was stronger, darker. The report went on to say that Raven’s transformation began in childhood, fueled by an herb called Henbane, a plant that only grows in the desolate lands. Henbane, they said, hadn’t been active for decades, not since Raven was imprisoned. I set the report aside, my thoughts swirling

NARRATOR The great hall of Ravencrest was alive with anticipation, and the air seemed thick with energy, like the very stones of the building were holding their breath. The banners, draped in silver and blue, hung like silent sentinels, the colors a testament to the old bond between Rolan and Mara. Rolan, gone now, but not forgotten. Silver—the shade of his strength, and blue—Mara’s scars, which had come to define her as much as her resilience. Together, they wove a tapestry that was neither entirely victory nor defeat, but a complex, ever-shifting middle ground.

descended an even larger shadow-a cloaked figure never seen before, grinning with two faces. Valtorius stiffened. "No... they called the Umbral Arbiter. This is... worse than I thought." And as the shadows swallowed the light again, Raven stared at her new enemy-with a gaze that was no longer fearful, but... lit with a determination she had never felt before. The hallway was now filled with colliding energies. Light and darkness competed for space, creating small explosions and invisible vortices that made the air heavy to breathe. Raven stood at the centre of it, her body emitting a purple light that now glowed darkly.

Even tiny progress still counted. As Raven unlocked her phone, I noticed the familiar supernatural map application glowing faintly across the screen. Every supernatural community had something similar. Pack borders. Neutral territories. Known covens. Safe routes. Places ordinary humans never knew existed. "Alright," she said. "Let's see what we've got." She zoomed farther and farther into the map. "No major cities." I nodded. "No packs within immediate range." Another nod. "Enough forest for your wolf." Good. "And..." She frowned thoughtfully.

Violet “ V, you have been searching non-stop without letting it go, he doesn't have any digital footprint, he is clean and your investigator already called, he will get back to you,” Rochelle said. “Maybe I should just run away,” I said turning to Rochelle “Your dad will find you in less than an hour, besides just get the engagement sorted out then you figure out what to do before the wedding.” Rochelle kept talking but I was already up picking up my things.

A deep rumble pierced through my fading hearing, “this is on you, Grace.” Then there was the silence. Voices vanished leaving nothing but the heavy weight of the void. Like they say, life on borrowed time. It will never be yours, nor mine. Not until a spark of light crack the walls of oblivion. A beam of ray cut through the cracks and went straight to Raven, drowning in his own blood and lifeless. Raven? The energy of that light seemed so warm that it pulled Raven back to his senses, his eyes were half-opened yet it was enough to see the light slowly forming into an image of a wolf… with glowing golden-brown eyes.

His molten gold eyes were wide, burning with a frantic, possessive madness as they locked onto the silver-eyed girl standing in the center of the light. But he wasn't the only one moving. From the dark, shadowed canopy of the western tree line, a massive, magnificent silver-gray wolf burst onto the plateau. The beast didn't look like any ordinary pack wolf; its aura was ancient, heavy, and carried the forbidden, lethal scent of the primordial bloodlines. As it hit the white sand, the wolf shifted in a seamless, terrifying blur of motion, turning back into the tall, slate-gray cloaked figure of Lysander Caelum Ravenhart.
