Rivyn strode out of the cottage and cast himself down beside me, his hair flying with the force of the movement and revealing the tips of his ears. “Well,” he declared, falling onto his back with abandonment, dropping his arms over his eyes to shade his face from the sun. “I have read all that there is to be read. There is no time, now, to seek another book, so I must hope that what I have learnt, is enough. What comes next, lies in the hands of destiny and is out of my control.”
