"Ummm.." A heavy voice forced Ryan to stop in his track. He halted his pace and looked the person over his neck. Dry blood marks covered his pale face, only his blue eyes were noticeable that was burning like embers in the night. Fresh drops of blood were still dripping off his hair, falling on his face, crossing his chin reaching over the skin of his trachea.

I asked the doctor, and he paused to answer. "Once the silver is out, he will be able to heal himself. We have to give it time. Meantime. I will need to transfer blood to his system, while I flush out the silver." The doctor said, and I volunteered myself. The blood was taken, and because I could not allow my issue with Desiree to linger, I asked Kyle to come and stand guard and watch. No blood was allowed to interact with my father. It wasn't because I believed what Tim had told Desiree but because I did not want anyone to claim sabotage.

His face was full of confusion as he asked, "Babe, what did I even do wrong?" I tried to get him to stand up, but Betty stopped me. She pulled me to the couch and raised her chin at Trent. "Did you cheat on her?" Trent's eyes widened, almost popping out of his head. "No way! If I had that much time, I'd rather code a few more lines!" Aggrieved, he shuffled on his knees over to me and tried to plead his case. Before he could say anything, however, he noticed the bandages on my hand.

His words hit me like a punch to the gut, casually wiping away all that had happened between us. The impact was terrifyingly potent. I felt a lump in my chest, and I doubled over, coughing so hard it felt like my heart was ripping apart. When I finally caught my breath, I looked at my hand, covered in fresh blood. Keith saw it too. His expression darkened, and he was at my side in an instant, his voice deep with concern. "What's going on?"

I tightened my grip and replied calmly, “Don’t worry. Even if I strangle a piece of trash like you with my bare hands, those snipers won’t be able to stop me. Trust me—I’m no rookie either.” I raised my voice, locking eyes with him. “Still haven’t figured out what to say to save your pathetic life?” Suddenly, sirens blared in the distance. Dozens of vehicles were pulling up. Nathan, his voice hoarse and cracked, screamed, “You’re done for! They’re here now—just wait for the bullets! Mr. Andy Stormbringer will never let you live!” I clenched my hand even harder. But how could I let him die so easily?

Picking him up and tossed him on the wooden benches, breaking them apart. "Don’t you know. Humans are to play with not to keep in as bloody lovers. How the fucking hell you can resist it". Adam moved to stand behind Callum. Bending on him. Sniffing his neck.. "Do you see the pulse here? See its throbbing. Flowing with the blood". Adam scratched a nail on the pulse at the side of his neck drawing blood. "Hmmmmmm. I am high just sniffing it. How would it taste to have the warmth of this blood on my tongue? Wanna try"? Adam challenged as blood was oozing from the wounds.

He said nothing for the first few minutes, letting the clink of cutlery and the distant murmur of guards fill the silence. Finally, he spoke without looking at us. “One of them was injured. I found blood on the outer wall.” Kael’s head snapped toward him. “And you didn’t say this earlier?” Lucien’s crimson gaze flicked lazily toward Kael. “I wanted to confirm it wasn’t yours first. You looked... winded.” Kael bristled, but I cut in before they could start. “If there’s blood, can we track it?” Lucien’s mouth curved faintly. “That depends on whether you’d rather find them, or let them think they’re still unseen.”
