“Neither are there hybrids like me.” Lucas created a spell after learning spell creation from his mother’s spell book. The spell will make the vampires immune to the sun without them always dressed in a thick dark hooded cloak. All he needs is to enchant the spell on a lapis-lazuli stone. Each vampire can get their stones and wear them in form of a ring or a necklace.

“What does this spell do?” “If completed,” I explained, “the spell will plunge all living creatures under its influence into eternal darkness. In this case, it would empower vampires while weakening werewolves. The only way to find answers is to follow Aldric’s suggestion: we must go to the Temple of the Moon Goddess. Incidentally, I’m due for a chat with my mother-in-law.”

"In one word, you're deceiving yourself if you think you can win." "This is why I hate you," I whined. "Always being so realistic. At least be optimistic for once!" "Not when you're dealing with the Queen of Vampires." He noted. "Besides, what is this spell?" "Well it's a lightning spell. It grants me the ability of lightening temporarily and can also dampen time to a certain extent."

Mariam mind-links Tamara and me. "Go ahead. We are all in our positions in case anyone needs help getting out of the city," I say. "We will start our chant now. Give it about an hour or two. We're many more magical creatures now, so we can make the spell more potent. When Angelica did the spell on Vladimir and his vampires, it was only her, so the spell only kicked in after a few days or even months. Now that we are many, we can make the spell more powerful. Activating their souls and feelings will be much faster now that we are many magical creatures. Vladimir is an original vampire and a magical creature. Although he did not know it, his magical powers tried to protect him against the spel

Hilda adjusted the lapels of her leather jacket and stared at him with optimistic eyes. "That would be foolish of you, Hilda." Mom walked toward us and rested a hand on her hips. She looked calm and collected and I sometimes wonder how she could remain placid and serene in all situations. Everyone looked either angry or panicked and one sure thing is that vampires don't breathe so loud. I can hear the heartbeat of a mortal nearby, watching us and the mortal must be a witch. "This markings on their forehead is a dark mojo. There are lots of dark energy in this circle and it would lead to your death if you don't rethink your decision."

The magic coalesced into a radiant sphere above my palm, its luminescence casting a soft, comforting glow. Closing my eyes, I created a mental picture of Vincent using magic to control Tarr. Vampires used blood magic, so I visualized red threads projected by Vincent, the threads tied on different parts of Tarr’s body—his wrists, knees, ankles, head. Tarr was a puppet to Vincent who controlled those threads. The magical sphere pulsed with intensity, responding to the urgency of my intent.

She was not done delivering unpleasant news. "Spit it out." I demanded. "Sven's death." She began haltingly, waiting for me to fly off the handle. When I made no such move, she continued uneasily. "I have been making a lot of research into the spells that bind your powers. I still don't know everything but I came across a ritual in Egypt. The transfer of magic, they call it. It is a ritual through which you can take another's power for yourself, but only after they are dead. Not only that, but if your prey happens to have their soul or power intertwined with another's, you can take that person's magic as well."

Resa called out to her but got no reply. "Ariel?" Resa said shaking her this time "How?" Ariel asked and Resa answered "We can't really control or change what we are meant to be Ariel" "What do you mean by we?" Ariel said glaring at the woman beside her "Ohhh Ariel...I'm a vampire and since your mother was a witch, you are one too" Resa said and Ariel looked frustrated and worked up.

It was more like hypnotize him. This spell was abused by many female witches to make their husband or lovers do their bidding and some male would use this too on female they like and she remembered this spell was restricted and was used only when the situation was critical. Like what she was experiencing now. “I know I am the cause of all this but it also Rex Fault but it not time to blame each other and I won’t let you ruin Rex’s name!” Yael said and immediately uttered some strange witch words, ‘saekvotu ekce’ and the moment the werewolf launched at her it froze midair before calming down like a wet puppy.
