A dark-skinned man wearing washed jeans and a black turtleneck shirt stood in the middle of the shop with his back turned to us, talking on the phone. "Ahem." He turned to us, his frown quickly turning into a smile as he approached us, ending the call with whoever was on the other line. "Jack," he laughed as they gave each other a side hug. "Fredrick," Jack responded, and I smiled at their interaction. Fredrick turned to me, his dark eyes on mine. "Who do we have here?" he joked, and I couldn't help but smile. "Hi. I'm Amanda, Jack's girlfriend."

And obey. My heart is in my throat. I see them move to the side as an older version of Rick comes forward, and I can feel his strong aura. "That's my father. He's ready to meet you," he says as he gets out of the car and goes around to open mine. I don't know if I'm ready for this, I don't know if I can do this, but there is no going back now. Ophelia answered. Drake was amazed and quickly sat down. "You are the one behind everything? I thought was that…what about that man?" Opheliaa smiled and nodded. "He is my assistant." Drake hit his palm together, how did he not realize this? Well, it was difficult anyway since the man who even contacted him was mysterious, to begin with. "I think that I have seen you before on the news. You are Ophelia, right? Wait…aren't you the sister of the Red Moon Pack's Alpha?"

Drake growled. Suddenly, his eyes turned red; he was fuming mad as he transformed. He runs towards the rouge, who transforms into a werewolf and mercilessly scratches his back. He wasn’t contented; he attacked the rouge, and then Drake beheaded the rouge until it transformed into a human, lying on the ground, lifeless. They fought the other rouge and howled angrily. “That’s for poisoning my stray!” Drake gritted his teeth as he beheaded them all. Beta Dillon picked up the poison's antidote and gave it to the alpha.

“I did. Willow is a sore subject, but I won’t let anyone hurt her… or you. I’m on your side, Ryder. If you didn’t know that, then you do now.” There was nothing else that Drake needed to do to prove to Ryder that he could be trusted. Ryder’s hesitation to tell him about how he could walk out of hell in soul form was gone. Ryder told Drake everything. Although confused, Drake agreed to watch over Ryder’s body as he slept. He would make sure no one would wake Ryder and interrupt his time with Demi that night.

Suddenly I see Tate’s car pull in behind us, blocking Drakes in. Drake looks up and smiles at him as Tate hops down. My eyes trailed over him. He only had a tank top on and camouflage pants. He also had tribal tattoos running up his arms and I could just see them across his chest where his tank top exposed his skin. He looked vastly different from when I last saw him, how both of them changed so much over a couple of years astounded me. Tate wastes no time rushing over, a huge grin on his face like all his Christmases came at once.

I wanted to be near him and not have any nightmare, so I crawled in next to him, but I guess, my body is use to being on him. Leah's voice breaks my thoughts, "okay, shower time and then I'll walk with you to meet with Cynthia for your session," she picks up my water bottle and tosses it to me. We walk towards the showers and she clears her throat, "what's going on, where were you during this training?" My cheeks heat, "sorry but this morning something kind of bad happened with Alpha Braddock but I'm sure he's okay now though." She sighs, "well when he entered the kitchen this morning, you'd swear he lost his best friend and he was totally pissed over it."

Do you want to die today, Drake?” I could not believe my second in command, Beta Ivan recommended Drake to be my bodyguard and temporary assistant.
