It was pulled back into an elaborate braid which dangled down to her waist and the vivid color brought out the odd bluish tones in her pale skin. Her eyes were acid green, slit like a snake's, and when she smiled, she revealed a set of fangs.

Now, this! I watched her with pure rage burning in my eyes and fuming out of my nostrils. "Naya Crowley of the Red Sentinel Pack, I, Stormy West, the future Alpha of the Twilight Pack, hereby reject you as my mate!" She raised her head immediately after I was done with the declaration and then she grinned at me. "Thank you for that."

Theron's POV The day of the event was finally here. This is the day I officially put Twilight on the map. Another success to celebrate. Many of my past lovers have been calling nonstop to accompany me to the event but I turned them all down. I don't want any drama tonight so I decided to just go alone.

“Evan! I was wrong about you! “Tyler has no grudges against you, yet you’re beating him like you want him dead. You’re going to pay for this today!” Without a moment’s hesitation, she grabbed a heavy rod from the side and swung it down hard against my body. Smack! Smack! Smack! The specially-made rod carried a punishing weight. Within moments, I could feel warm blood soaking through my clothes. Rosie stood to the side, watching coldly as the strikes rained down. At one point, the pain was too much, and I blacked out—only to be jolted awake by a bucket of icy water being dumped over my head.

Another redhead who entered the room last said, staring at both Aurora and Maverick in disdain, she seemed to be part of the witches and also enjoyed the same position as Mani but Aurora was sure that she had never seen her before. “We used the advanced guide on him with the better spells and ways and even with The Mistress, me and Mani, none of us were able to make him submit to the Essence.” She laughed but Aurora didn’t find her words funny, instead she clenched her jaws, gritted her teeth and fisted her hands. “Doesn’t that sound a lot like someone I know?” “Stop, Rosa.” The Mistress said to the redhead who just looked at them from head to toe and went to stand beside The Mistress.

It was old but Twilight made sure to maintain it. He wasn’t good with a gun or strong to fight the monsters face to face, so he made sure to use his ability to sneak to its fullest. Going out of his hiding spot, Twilight approaches the unaware husk. He knew that husks weren’t strong as long as they weren’t aware of any humans nearby. While this was dangerous, Twilight had to do it. It was his only way of relieving his fellow human’s pain and misery. Once he closed the gap between him and the husk, Twilight quickly covers its mouth and stabs it at the base of its neck, silencing it.

Twilight cast a violet glow through the harem’s high windows as Scarlett and the Omegas were ushered into a steamy bathing chamber deep within the harem, its air thick with steam and the heady scent of roses. Wooden tubs, carved with wolf motifs and spaced generously apart, stood filled with warm water, their surfaces dotted with crimson rose petals that floated like blood on snow, like a small oasis of luxury that felt like a mockery of their servitude.

At the mention of his name, it all finally began to make sense. In the whole of Hayden, there were only two people known to be capable of such a feat as he had just displayed.
