The True Alpha Female's Awakening

The True Alpha Female's Awakening

Cecilia POV I stared at him, a hint of disbelief flashing in my eyes. "You mean to say you can't help at all? If it weren't for Freeda, your dear wife, these people wouldn't even be refugees in the first place! Don't you think you owe them some compensation?" Freeda interrupted sharply, "This isn't about refugees. This is about you playing the hero and trying to make yourself look good. Just because you have money and influence now doesn't mean others can throw money around recklessly."

Stealing the Heart of the Lycan King

Stealing the Heart of the Lycan King

His eyes lit up with joy as he eagerly unwrapped it and took a bite. “Aww,” I chuckled softly, brushing my fingers over his chubby cheeks. “Aren’t you the sweetest little boy?” One by one, I greeted the people, personally handing out food, clothing, and small gifts. Eloise and Nyx helped as well, distributing supplies and sharing warm smiles with the refugees. The gratitude in their eyes, the way they hugged me with tears of joy… it was overwhelming. Once everything had been distributed, the three of us decided to walk around the camp, observing the living conditions so we could report back to the packhouse.

Billion-Dollar Heartbreak

Billion-Dollar Heartbreak

Joseph raised his hand, ordering the men he'd brought. Bruno finally realized these weren't his men, but Joseph's people. Seeing Bruno look toward the door, Joseph sneered: "Don't bother looking - your men are waiting for you downstairs!" Bruno looked disbelieving, but Joseph continued: "Oh right, your people in Meracia and America have already switched sides." "Impossible!" Bruno roared like an enraged lion. "When faced with substantial benefits versus empty promises, what's impossible?" Joseph cast a contemptuous look at Bruno. "You only have one way out now."

Ruin Me, Alpha: Breaking The Enemy's Daughter

Ruin Me, Alpha: Breaking The Enemy's Daughter

He barked orders, positioning his men in defensive formations. Then I saw them. Not an army. Not monsters. Just people. A group of bedraggled figures emerged from the forest, men, women, children. Their clothes were torn, faces gaunt with hunger. Refugees. "Please!" A woman stumbled forward, falling to her knees. A small child clung to her skirts, no more than five or six years old. "Please, we mean no harm. We just need food. Water. Anything." Ares approached slowly, his sword still drawn. "Where are you from?"

Mr. Webb, Make Your Move!

Mr. Webb, Make Your Move!

She was sure he had left their little town by then. Yosef glanced down. "Where could I go? It's the holidays, and both hotels here are full. I've got no place to stay." She did not buy it for a second. Yosef could find a comfy spot anywhere, even in a desert. Fleent was not far from the city. He could easily head back to East Coast. Was his huge, fancy mansion not enough? Zara thought he was just trying to get sympathy. Yosef, looking for sympathy? That idea seemed as strange as a fish riding a bicycle.

The Alpha's Breeding Pet

The Alpha's Breeding Pet

"You're going to get us all killed with your principles." "Probably. But at least we'll die for something meaningful." "There's that optimism I've come to know and love." Despite everything, I laughed. "I learned from the best." Over the next few days, more refugees arrived. Small groups, mostly. Wolves fleeing persecution. Humans who'd escaped breeding cells. All of them seeking the sanctuary that Ironfang was apparently offering. We took them all in. Stretched our resources thin. Strained our defenses. But we took them in.

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

LOVING MR HOCKEY STAR

"I don't want your forgiveness or a second chance or anything else. I just... I need to try to fix what I broke. Even if it's too late." I stared at him, searching his face for any sign of the cruel boy who had laughed at my tears. But all I saw was genuine anguish, a pain that seemed to match my own. "I spent the last year working with refugees in Eastern Europe," he continued when I didn't respond. "I saw real suffering, real loss. People who had lost everything but still found ways to be kind to strangers. And all I could think about was how I had everything, money, privilege, opportunities and I used it all to hurt someone who had done nothing but love me."

Sinner's Empire Series: Sin of Silence, A Silent Reckoning, Goodnight Sinners

Sinner's Empire Series: Sin of Silence, A Silent Reckoning, Goodnight Sinners

"I thank you for your service to our country and our neighbors. The regional conflicts have made life difficult, if not impossible, for many of my people. Our citizens would've starved or died in war if it weren't for the refugee camps. Your sacrifice is appreciated." Shaun refocused on Radik, who appeared to be sincere in his praise. She thanked him and when she looked back at Jozef, his strange expression had passed, replaced by the blank look he wore when he was doing business. "Should we get started?" Radik leaned back in his chair, his gaze, which was much warmer now, on Shaun's face.

The Lycan Kingpin's Captive: A Baby For The Beast

The Lycan Kingpin's Captive: A Baby For The Beast

he says. “Thank you!” I say and smile brightly. I know that Josef is a kind soul, which is odd since he’s in this pack, so hopefully, he can convince Alpha Nikolaos to at least give me something to write in while I’m stuck here. It’s the least I can ask for. Half an hour later, Josef returns with three books and a pack of pens. “He told me to find these in his offices, but advise that you keep them in a place where he can see them,” he says with a smile, and even this doesn’t bother me.

All of these little stories were absolutely amazing! I know you’re taking a break for a while, author, but when you come back will you do Eden’s story, or no? As always, thank you for another amazing story (or in this case stories) to read. You really are an amazing artist, one of my favorites!
