I groaned as I realized that I had been victimized again by the great prankster---my girlfriend---Daniella Sparks. I can already imagine her evil laugh and how her eyes would blaze with a michievous hint in it. I just quickly answered it so it'll stop ringing.

His pronunciation was flawless, accent-free, as if it were his native tongue. Again, no answer. It drove me insane. I took the phone from his hand and set my picture as the contact photo. “Now, whenever I call, my picture will pop up.” I dialed again to show him. This time he seemed satisfied. “Did anyone else call you besides me?” More silence. Checking his recent calls, I saw one incoming earlier. “Telemarketing…” So he had answered. But the call had lasted less than ten seconds. “Probably just some company trying to sell stuff. Good call hanging up.”

After getting down the stairs and glancing around, the police officer quickly spotted a phone with its screen still lit. The phone was set to automatically dial a number on repeat. A small MP3 player was stuck to the back of the phone. It contained only one audio track, which was the sobbing voice everyone had heard just now. The track would automatically play every 20 seconds. "It really was a prank…" The police officer stuck out his tongue. Through his peripheral vision, he glanced at a corner of Charles' mouth, which was already swollen.

Is this a prank call? “Alright, the person on the call who hasn’t spoken a word. Maybe you just like my voice a little too much. (Lea's P.O.V.) My thoughts vanished like smoke when my phone suddenly rang. I grabbed it from my pocket to check who the caller was. There was no name. Only number. I tapped the green button, and put the phone close to my ears. "Hello?" At first, there was only static noises on the other line. But three seconds later, I heard someone breathing. Is this a prank call? "Hello? If you're bored, then be bored alone. Don't mess up with other people's lives. Just because you're having fun doesn't mean other people are having fun, too. It's not funny."
