Novel & Cerita Rejected Mate: The Lycan King's Claim

Not unless we wanted our wolves to rebel and drive us insane within days. And rejection didn't work for us the way it did for werewolves. It was odd to me how they could just utter a verbal proclamation and a bond that was supposed to mean forever would crumble apart like wet tissue. For Lycans, it was different. There were no second-chance mates for us, just our first and one-and-only. Then, nothing else. Once we were able to reject her, we would never have another fated mate. That connection that seemed to tilt the world would be gone for us forever.

The word hung between us. “You think I don’t know what it’s like? To want something you’re not supposed to? I’m the Lycan king. I shouldn't claim a banished Omega carrying another male’s child. My council would call it a weakness. My enemies would call it an opening.” I took the last step. Now we were sharing breath. “And I don’t care.” Her eyes flicked to my mouth, then away. Fast. Guilty. “He’ll come for me. For us. When he finds out I’m here. When he finds out you’re—”

"I have nothing left. Except him." The guardian didn't respond. I crawled forward, each movement agony. "I know I'm not special. I know I don't belong here. But if there's a chance, any chance at all that the king can help Dorian, then let me try." The guardian looked toward the mountain. And suddenly, I heard it faint but unmistakable. A heartbeat was coming from the mountains. It echoed from within the stone like a pulse in the earth itself. He's here. The Lycan King.

"She won't. She loves me too much to suspect anything like this.” I slapped a hand over my mouth to keep from gasping aloud, my heart shattering with each second that passed. This couldn’t be real. Not Wesley. Not Mina. But then he spoke again, his voice low and full of meaning. “I love you, Mina. Solene’s just. convenient. Once the mating ceremony is over, I’ll find a way to reject her.” Mina smiled softly, pulling him closer. "You better," she breathed. "I'm not sharing anyone with you."

That's why I can't seem to understand what happened back there in the woods. Why was my Lycan clamoring for her? Why did my heart swell with a crazy urge to protect her? Why do I wanna rip off Elder Hamilton's mouth for suggesting she gets burnt alongside the captured rogues? Like fucking why? “Maverick,” A voice interrupted my thoughts. It was Elder Hamilton. The oldest and only elder in the Kingdom who could address me with my name and not have his neck snapped instantly. “Yes?” I replied gruffly, feeling irked by his very blunt suggestion of having her burnt alongside those vile creatures.

I obeyed without hesitation. He studied me for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, with a slight nod, he turned to his warriors and ordered, “Leave us.” The warriors exchanged glances but obeyed without question, filing out of the room until we were alone. The silence that followed was heavy, charged with unspoken tension. The Lycan King leaned forward, his gaze never leaving mine. “You are my mate,” he said bluntly, his words hitting me like a physical blow. “I am not going to deny that. But I want you to keep it a secret. For now. Is that clear?”

He commanded as he walked to his bed and sat down, his eyes watching my every move. “Kneel on the broken pieces." He commanded, eyes blazing with fire and anger as he walked to his bed and sat down, his eyes watching my every move. My only crime was being human. Being human and daring to mate with the Lycan king in my continent. Not only have I been pushed into a world that I never knew existed up until last night, but I have also become his slave. A slave that he hated with every fiber of his existence.

Monarch Miller Jones’s point. In the heart of the mystical Lycan realm, where moonlight wove secrets and shadows danced with desire, there existed a king unlike any other. His name echoed through the ancient forests, whispered with both reverence and fear: King Miller. I stretched my limbs once I woke up from the hot and tiring sex with Tina, the pack slut, and my current bed partner for a good fuck. She provided me with coitus (sex) anytime, anywhere, and whenever I was horny. I got up from my bed and took my shower before getting dressed. My name is Miller Reid Jones. I am the Lycan king. I was born as a Lycan. My father was the former Lycan king. He was courageous, noble, and the most pow

Lucien had the door open before she could ask how he'd unlocked it. She didn't get in. "One more thing," she said. "Before I cross whatever line getting in that car represents." He stopped on the driver's side. Looked at her across the roof. "You said my bloodline outranks every living Lycan." She kept her voice level. "You said the Old Court wants it to legitimise their revival." She held his gaze. "You are Lycan. You came looking for me before the Old Court got here. You found me first." She let that sit for exactly one second. "Why does the Lycan King want me, Lucien? What does your court get out of this?"

“The king isn’t a toddler who doesn’t know what he wants. You should have told him to stay away from me instead. Why make me carry the entire blame?” “Let me finish,” she commanded, her priestess authority forcing me to silence once more. “The king is your mate.” The word hit like a blow. I wanted to laugh, but her expression left no room for humor. “Wait… there must be some mistake,” I said, shaking my head. “The goddess gave me my fated mate, but he rejected me. There’s no way I could have a mate again.” “Good. That makes it easier,” she said, clearing my confusion, only for a moment, before adding, “The Lycan king is your second-chance mate. Just like your first mate rejected you, the sam
