Novel & Cerita Rejected Mate: The Lycan King's Claim

His eyes fixed on mine as he spoke in redefined hate. " I Zander King, the Lycan King this second hence..." I closed my eyes. Letting the tears fall down my cheeks. I just can't look into his burning, disgust-filled orbs. I was preparing myself for the pain. " Reject you Serephina, the cursed girl, as my mate." I was prepared for the pain of rejection, yet what I wasn't prepared was for the pain that hits between my legs. " Ahhhhhhh" I screamed as he entered me with a strong thrust without even a warning. And both the pains hit me together, making my back arch and eyes to widen. I wasn't even allowed to scream as his hand muffled my scream. Making tears fall down my eyes non stop.

“It wouldn’t have bothered me. So, how does a member of the royal family get demoted to Omega?” “Well,” Adam starts. “The King is my cousin, but he lost his mate similarly to Reynolds. The king can’t be faithful to one female. He has a harem of thirty or forty, mostly females who have lost their mate to death. A couple who rejected their mates for some reason. So, the King is a little unstable. The council floated the idea of me as heir. But I was unmated, so I was going to be sent to the Mating Ball last year. But the King made the law about any Lycan mated by the goddess to anything other than Lycan cannot mark without royal approval.” “So, we could have met last year?” I ask.

“Have you heard what others are saying about our pack? They think you should step down from the throne! We have ruled this kingdom for many centuries, and none of your forefathers has shamed our family in this manner!” “Who I mate with is my own personal business,” Julian said. “And as the Lycan King, I decide who becomes queen. This is none of your business.” “This is unacceptable,” the chief asserted. “You are the Lycan King, and your mate affects the fate of the entire kingdom. We have looked into your lover's background. We know she used to be mated to Alpha Devon of the Red Moon Pack. We also know that he rejected her because she was a dirty whore! You cannot allow you to soil the name

The pack elder, Alfred, stepped forward with a heavy sigh, his aged but authoritative voice carrying across the silent hall. “Since an event like this has never happened before, the young lady must undergo a series of tests to determine whether she is truly fit to become the Lycan Queen.”Matteo’s face turned stone-cold, his aura flaring with barely contained fury. “Why would my mate need to take a series of tests? She is my fated mate, chosen and blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. I will only recognize her as my queen.”

“It’s not my fault you let yourself believe it.” The crowd murmured again, their voices harsh and accusatory. “She thought she could be a Luna?” someone whispered. “An omega, dreaming above her station,” another sneered. The walls closed in on me. “I… I’m your mate,” I said weakly, my hand clutching at my chest. “You can’t do this. You can’t!” Xander’s expression darkened, and he stepped closer, towering over me. “I, Alpha Xander of the Moon-Waters Pack, reject you, Nara Cliff, as my mate,” he said, his voice cold and final.

He retorted once again, but I stood transfixed to a spot with my mouth hung wide agape. “Leave? That's all you intend to say? How shameless can you really be? You irritate me down to the core erebus.” I retorted, clenching my fists. I could feel my blood boiling at an insane range; it was killing me way too much to listen to whatever crappy words the bastard had said, but I had not expected him to yell at me for any reason. “Yes. Leave. Stop acting like we are lovers. I married you only because I need an excuse; you don't get to pass out orders for me, and it seems you have forgotten your place in this pack. I am the Lycan King , and you tried to steal from me!”

“I know being the kingdom’s future Luna, makes you a very busy pup.” “What do you want?” I gritted out. Lawson looked down at his hand as if he were inspecting it. “Your mate is not who you think he is. Did you know that every potential wife he has been given miraculously disappears?” Before I could respond he continued and looked at me once more. “I am not your enemy sweet Ana. It is your Lycan King, that is. He has manipulated his people in thinking that missing girls, and an almost extinct being in charge, is acceptable.” He leaned slightly forward. “But I know better. I see how backwards it all is.”

he asked when she didn't respond. "Lycan King, I have just turned eighteen and I am sure that I will find my mate and I believe in Moon Goddess. She must have chosen the best for me" She replied politely, declining his offer. Lycan King's palm balled up in a rage, as he didn't expect her to reject him without even trying. He is the type of man who does not pay attention to any girl; in fact, girls drool over him and are willing to do anything for him, but this girl has rejected him even though she is aware that none other than Lycan King is interested in her.

The room erupted in chaos as the other lycans rose to their feet, their faces contorted in anger and confusion. I knelt before him, hands clasped in a desperate plea. “Forgive me, sire. It’s my fault. I’ll instantly reject you. I, Tara Morgan, slave of Alpha King Ethan, hereby reject you, Supreme Alpha King Ethan, as my mate—” Before I could finish, a forceful hand slammed against my cheek, leaving my head spinning, ears ringing, and vision blurred. Ethan struck me. “How dare you reject me, you foolish creature!” he growled. Another stinging slap landed on my face, forcing me onto the hard stone floor. “How does a lowly nobody like you dare to reject me?!”

Maybe I told her because she was my friend or because she would understand my predicament but I knew I told her when I needed someone to confide in. The festival continued when Alpha Jackson returned to the hall with the Lycan King. An eerie silence descended on the hall in the presence of the Lycan King. His aura was dominating and powerful. I only looked up for a few seconds to see them walk in. Jackson started a long speech, emphasizing on the friendship between both of them and how they've come a long way. They were friends. I'm sure Jackson already told the Lycan King about me. How he rejected me and how I was nothing but a tool to me. I wouldn't expect any less from his friends as well
