As the warm water flowed down my throat, I felt my energy coming back to me gradually. I could feel my limbs again, albeit slowly. Tears of joy flowed down my cheeks. Peter and Selena stood some distance away, feeling perplexed. Zachary supported me so that it was easier for me to breathe. After taking a long while to gather myself, I opened my eyes, glanced toward Peter and blurted, "I want a divorce." Both Peter's and Selena's mouths hung agape. Peter loosened his grip on his cup, which fell and shattered on the floor.

"I found a similar ritual in one of my spell books." From the way Asher’s voice was darkening, I knew that I wasn’t going to like whatever it was that he was about to say. Behind him, Haidan and Antoine had looks of discomfort, further strengthening my hunch. "The only spells that involve that many sacrifices and that many separate rituals are ones that involve revival." Asher's words slammed into me, and the world seemed to cease to exist around me. Xavier performed only two steps and extracted the baby barely developed and the baby was created from magic. He only performed those requirements that would revive her, that's all." The Infinite Elixir Manual mentioned the Revival Pill was a mid-upper level elixir. Cultivators with suppressed internal energy would be able to recover it in the shortest time possible after they consumed the pill.

I didn't know where I was but I noticed the houses seemed to have changed, I knew I wasn't hallucinating. Inside of me was unstable as my mind kept trying to collect what had happened, but I didn't want to recall the incident, what I had done, what I had let happen, and the power that got unleashed once again.
