Chapter 61: Threads of Rebirth Aria’s POV As I carefully opened the old book I had taken from the renegade leader's hideout, the moon shone silvery over the clearing, high above the forest canopy. Under my fingers, the pages crumpled like withered leaves, their surface speckled with mysterious markings and runes. After weeks of collecting enough tidbits of knowledge to even find this book, I was finally holding it. I felt deep down that these frail pages held the answers I was looking for. Responses to the torrent of turmoil that followed me everywhere, my rebirth, and my broken connections.

The crowd erupted in an uproar. Kenneth had not expected me to have a backup plan. He shouted angrily, "Don't believe her! She's a scheming woman who's always framing others!" "Really?" I shot back sarcastically. "The public isn't blind. Let them judge for themselves. Why are you getting so worked up all of a sudden?" As I spoke, I played the video on my phone. Burned once in my previous life, I had learned my lesson. This time around, I had befriended the banquet hall manager early on. Every move in the hall had been recorded from start to finish and downloaded onto my phone.

Finally, she found the real earrings inside the lining, gleaming back at her. "You…" She collapsed onto the couch. "When did you find out?" I folded my arms and thought for a moment. "I knew back in my last life." Mom scrambled backward in fear. "Irene, I was wrong. Please forgive me. Put the earrings on yourself. I can't take this anymore." She dropped to her knees. I was the only one who could save her now. If I put the earrings on, our lives would swap, and she would instantly recover. However, I wasn't stupid.

As he opened the book, the fragrance of aged parchment wafted through the air, creating an olfactory tapestry that intertwined with the silent narratives within. Joseph closed the book, its pages whispering as they settled back into a state of repose. The room, once filled with the enchanting tales of werewolves and mystical histories, now echoed with the sigh of a man burdened by the weight of knowledge. He ran his fingers over the worn cover, feeling the texture beneath his touch.

With quickened footsteps, she dashed to the shelf and found only two books still laying. Eyes closed and the outside world shut completely. "Focus and you shall get what you want!" She silently said to herself with hands that were raised halfway to the books. As soon as she opened her eyes, the bold, gold letters glowed on the backside of the two books. They began to mechanically shake and eventually fell from the shelf to her hands. "The Waters Beneath Will Deliver—The Winds Shall Redeem Me From NERIDA." "Why are there two books?" Amethyst halted to browse the black covered book. She only got a glimpse of the inside of the book which was empty. Turning to the gold-covered book, she glimpsed

"You madman!" He lunged at Justin, who deftly dodged. Xavier lost his balance and stumbled over the open window, half of his body dangling outside. "Help... Help..." he cried out, desperately trying to hold onto something. However, all he managed to grab was Justin's sleeve. Justin looked down at him, then yanked back his hand. Xavier fell straight out of the window. I walked to the window, gazing down at the crimson mess below. "You said in my previous life, an eye for an eye, a life for a life. This is payback for the life I previously lost."

I find it strange that there are no notes or marked pages. I pick up the second book and am surprised that there are notes, but not in my hand. The handwriting is that of a man and seems old. Curiously, I follow the directions for the hand motions and see a pink smoke illuminating from my hand. Concentrating on a medical terminology book on a shelf, I call it to me, then stop it before it reaches me. “Page 75,” the book opens to the page, and I hear the words in my head. “Stop,” I say, then, “Page 283.” The pages turn, and then I hear the words again. “Stop, go back.” The book goes back to its place on the shelf. My attention then goes back to the spell book. Everything is handwritten and it

I have been reading this old dusty book for about an hour now, I groaned and gave up on the book, I got up and went to go put the book back, but when I was about to put the book in the slot I saw a little door. There was a button on it so I pressed it, it made a little squeak which got everyones attention, they stared at what I was doing, I opened it fully, inisde there was a giant leather book.
