The ring on Rowan's finger shattered everything they thought they knew. Riven grabbed Rowan's wrist in the dim torchlight of the hidden keep's main hall. "Explain this ring. I saw it in the shared vision with Lucien. Wolf shaped with the twisted rune. Start talking now." Rowan tried to pull away eyes wide . "Alpha it is nothing. Just a gift from an old contact." Thorne stepped closer sword half drawn. "Rowan you have been at my side for years. Tell me this is not what it looks like. You cannot be the leak."

A gentle wind whispered through the crystal trees, making the silver threads between wrists shimmer and hum with ancient magic. Elara stood with Lord Rowan beneath the vast canopy of stars, their wrists still linked by the glowing silver thread.
