The books chose that moment to fall off a shelf. I declined to comment. Eventually we arrived at a circular room near the center of the Hall. Unlike the grand chambers we had already seen, this room was quiet. Small. Almost humble. A single lantern hung overhead. A single window overlooked the city. And in the center stood a pedestal. Upon it rested a book. Nothing else. Just a book. Alaric stopped walking. So did everyone else. The atmosphere changed immediately. The room felt important. Not because of size. Because of meaning.

He thought: the city library is the village hall's urban correspondent. Thomas wrote about one room in particular. He wrote about the reading room on the third floor — the room he had worked in for eleven years, the room he knew most completely. He wrote about the reading room as the library's most attended room — the room where the serious readers came, the room for the deep attending, the long reading, the hours of absorption. He wrote that the reading room had a problem he had not been able to name until he read the essay. He wrote: the room does not hold the attending. The readers come and the readers attend but the room does not support the attending. I have watched eleven years of read

But Kaitlyn wondered if they'd ever be able to, Jackson was like mist. He faded away when you tried to grasp it. She walked up the stairs to her bedroom, and the emptiness felt different this time. She sat on the bed, noting the yellow photo album laying innocently in the corner of the room. She crossed the room and opened it. Then without thinking, she left her room, standing outside of Jackson's old room. She took a deep breath in, before walking in. It was neat, and cold. Untouched.

This book is so captivating ! It truly captures the realism of emotional/psychological abuse, complications of the heart, friendship, and how everyone has their side to a story/not everything being as it seems! I enjoyed the twists and turns that it took me on!

Wow! This was really an amazing book. It's definitely a page turner. It was also unique compared to so many love stories out there. The topics of narcism & gaslighting are important along with mental health. This book could be so much better with proper editing and proofreading. Vocabulary was good.

Larger than the others. But closed tighter. Heavier. Like it was built to stay that way. — One of the guards steps forward and opens it. Slowly. Carefully. Like what’s inside matters more than what’s outside. — I step in first. — The room is… perfect. Too perfect. Everything is arranged. Clean. Prepared. Not lived in. Not warm. — A bed. A seating area. A window. High. Too high. — My eyes move slowly across the space.

The stairs wound for two more flights before another doorway appeared. "They don't exist because they're meant to be safe rooms..." she said, sliding the lock on the door in a star-shaped pattern before it popped open. "And if anyone asks...you didn't see that..." it was the top level which had the "crown" of quartz on top. The top of the room was clear so you could see out, and while the sides of this circular room had limited view looking up because of the crown, the center was unobstructed. There were chairs, desks, dressers, and two oversized beds. Off to one side was a partitioned bath area. But in the very center of the room was a pile of pillows made into a sort of makeshift bed.

This floor has three rooms and every room of the second floor is closed but this room door, at the end of the corner was half open, presumably someone got in the room just a while prior or he will forget to close the door. She didn't stop her inquisitive psyche and strolled to it, tenderly pushed the half opened door and entered inside. Her eyes enlarged as she saw a lovely room before her, loaded up with a large collection of books. Hundreds of books were stacked on the shelves, neatly. As her eyes meandered around the room, she was in wonderment. This resembled a fantasy. Her fantasy. The room is slightly dark, exceptionally huge and in library configuration style. She strolled in as she a

pretty good start. enough descriptive imagery. the blurb was okay. seems like there's enough conflict to keep the story interesting. the blurb needs some proofreading, as well as the first chapters (typos, tense consistency issues, punctuation, etc.). overall, nice work
krushandkill
The synopsis hints that this story has more in it than it seems. The chapters need some editing, but nothing that damages the story as it is right now. The ML is easily hated, but I bet there is more about him than the first chapters shows.

Room Service By David Gardiner It dawned on Josh that although he had read the last two or three paragraphs he hadn't taken any of it in. He laid the book on the desk, gaudy cover uppermost. It depicted a glamorous female in a skimpy summer dress embracing one tall handsome man while another one tugged at her shoulder, clearly trying to pull her away. If it was daylight and people were about he would have been more discreet. Not the kind of thing a self-respecting male wants to be seen reading. Despite the weight of his eyelids he couldn't really relax. He flicked through the register book which he was viewing upside down. That didn't matter, he wasn't reading it. For some reason he was in a

I look around after asking myself that unanswered question before standing up. I move my eyes around only to notice that the room is black and white themed. The place is so clean and organize that even my won room would get shy because it is full of dirt and mess. “I could not even see any laundry everywhere.” I added while I continue walking around. “Is this Mister Dawson’s room?” My so many unanswered questions have been finally justified when I notice a literature textbook on top of a working table inside this room. I bit my upper lip, thinking that he might be here earlier while I was sleeping and I suddenly got worried on how do I look like while sleeping.

I prayed feverishly as I stepped into the quiet room, looked for the nearest table, and dropped the book as noiselessly as I could. After I dropped it, I inhaled the rich male scent that filled the room, my eyes began to survey the room and I had to just compliment it. I had said our room was greatly lavished but Professor George's room was more than anything. The aesthetic was just great, my eyes wandered to his bed and a slow smirk appeared on my mouth as I wondered how only one person would sleep on such a big bed. I used to have such a bed back in Havon but I still very much prefer the floor or couch most times.
