I avoided the eyes of the others as the few expression I saw stared back at me weirdly. Almost as if I was a supernatural being. I unlocked the door and waltzed through the threshold, finding a room with two beds on either side of it. A desk rested against the wall the door was on and a chest at the foot of the bed. On the bed to the left lay a girl reading a book. Her head snapped in my direction when I entered the room, a large grin taking over her features. "You're here! My first roommate!" She smiled brightly, playing her book beside her, "My name's Remmi." She rushed over to me and hugged me tightly. I awkwardly patted her shoulder in response.

"Um, that..." He scratched the back of his neck. "Actually, I wanted a boy to be my roommate," he admitted, awkwardly smiling. But the girl just blinked and blinked before asking, "boy?" in a very blank voice. Then she lowered her gaze to him. His entire body came to a halt just below his waist. His face flushed and he coughed to get her attention, but she was still staring at him. "So, I can't give you the room," he said again to refocus her attention on his face. He'd never seen such an openly gay girl staring at a man.

She feels like crying but restrains herself. “Kate, you a’ight?” Yssy asks from across the room. Yssy is Kate’s roomie. There are Single Rooms and Double Rooms available at camp, but Kate has a Double Room and a roommate because it’s the cheaper option. Yssy is sitting up on her own bed. The whites of her wide eyes are stark in the dim while her black babydoll night gown is melded with it.

Rose invited, gently pulling Renee's hand to invite her to the room. "Yes, let's go to bed, Rose," Renee said. Rose and Renee began to climb one by one stairs to go to the second floor where the second room was located. During her stay at Rose's residence, Renee lived right next door to Rose's room. However, not infrequently the two will spend time sleeping together, it is because the closeness that exists between the two is very very close.

And sitting there, like they owned the world, were Darien, Blake, and—unfortunately...Azrael. Darien didn’t even look at me when I entered, just kept flipping through a file like I was invisible. Azrael shot me the same cold glare he always did. And Blake… Blake just watched.

She yanked off her headset and snapped, "Melissa, Melissa, Melissa—what is this, are you trying to yell my ear off? "It's the middle of the night! Can you shut up? I can't even hear my own game!" We'd used to have four girls in the dorm, but one had moved out because she couldn't stand Sienna. Now, only Jessica and I were left. I'd stayed because I couldn't afford to move, and Jessica had stayed because she wasn't someone Sienna would dare cross. So instead, Sienna focused on me, treating me like an easy target and making my life miserable.

It was not until I rolled my quilt up that she finally realized something was off. "What are you doing, Luna?" she asked. "The counselor approved my room change. I'll be moving to the room next door," I replied with a smile. Right then, three girls from the next dorm walked in while grinning. They said, "We're roommates now, Luna! We'll help you carry your belongings." I smiled gratefully and said, "Thanks. Dinner's on me tonight." I picked up my belongings and was ready to leave. That was when Sia finally realized what I had said. She rushed over and yanked the quilt out of my arms.

“Nooo, please don’t ask… it’s nothing good.” Jovian nodded softly. “Alright then. I'm here if you need to talk.” Jovian…. Jovian, a very kind roommate of mine who loved geeky stuff. He had this bright red hair that stood out compared to mine, and he had freckles across his face. His build was pretty similar to mine. By the time I shuffled into the living room, Ethan was already up, shirtless and golden and taking up the whole rug with his push-ups.

For six months I renovated the condo where my fiancé and I were supposed to begin our married life. Grant said he was buried in a project. My brother said he was always traveling. My best friend said something had come up at home. Not one of them had time to lend a hand. Uh—Carol, this is Stacy, my roommate.” Stacy nudged her friend forward, who smiled sweetly, dimples and all. “And this is Mariah.” Carol offered a lazy wave. “Hi.”
