Rory’s POV Morning comes too fast after too many memories I can’t unsee. I lie still in the unfamiliar bed, staring at the ceiling through the faint beams of sunlight cutting across the floor. The sheets are too soft. The pillows too perfect. Everything smells like polished wood and faint lavender instead of home. But I’m not at home. I’m in a mansion full of leather jackets and secrets. And last night, I watched a man scream as he lost three fingers. What exactly are they? I wrap my arms tighter around myself. There’s a knock.

It seems like his hatred of Thalia is because of his father’s influence. Rory and Thalia have been as thick as thieves. Rory showed her gifted ability, which she was born with, which are her nails. He lunged, full feral, but Donald kicked him hard, sent him flying. "You walk out and leave me to drown? You're going to Mr. Menzer. You're paying my debt."

Krister asked, looking at his tablet still before walking to the back room. “Black? She doesn’t-- I mean didn’t wear anything else?” she asked, her eyebrows meeting in the middle confused. “Don’t tell me she’s one of those people…” “Yes, specifically black clothing. They’re hot in the day but you disappear in the night. That’s what she always said to me.” Krister disappeared in the back to get something whilst Rojean was left there to contemplate on her own how she was going to pull the act off if she was a bad liar herself.

Ash shifts again, his paws moving away from their original places, but still keeping me pinned down. Snow continues to fall at a steady pace, the wind growing slightly and the sky becoming darker.
