Alina shifted in her chair, and his gaze was immediately glued to the movement, watching as Alina brushed her fingers over her jean pocket, where the rose resided underneath. The man in shadows smiled, "Looking at this rose, isn't it like looking into the heart of someone who has lost their purpose; a broken and desolate being?" He recited and watched as Alina subconsciously gripped the area over her pocket. Her long and delicate fingers, so much larger than he recalled, hovering protectively. She would start remembering, soon enough.

"That's disgusting. Is that what this king is going to think? That I'm your pet?" "Yes, we have a collar packed for you upstairs—" "I am not wearing such a thing!" "You will wear what we tell you, Rosalyn. This is your life on the line and we are trying to do everything we can to keep you safe! Do you understand?" Paul snaps and I'm in shock because he's never shouted at me like this before. "Y-yes." I can feel tears pricking my eyes but I refuse to let them fall.

I screamed and was about to run in his direction but was stopped by a hand holding my wrist. "He needs help," I tried to free my hand from Orion's hold. "They are here," Orion's jaw tensed. Celia and Bernadette were standing behind Kai and Rose. Celia threw a dirty look at Rose, who had her hand on Kai's chest and was continously chanting some words, but the green foam kept coming out of Kai's mouth. "You?" I felt a bitter feeling. "I was supposed to be the Luna," Bernadette screamed with anger, her claws came out.

Before I could grab her, she looks back with tear filled eyes “I let them turn me into a monster Josiah. You don’t know what I’ve become. I can’t bare this. I can’t bare to hurt you.” She looked down contemplating her next words. “Josiah, I release you.” My chest burned like hot metal. She disappeared out the window as I let out a roar that shook the castle. “Rosemary I’ll find you! If it’s the last thing I do, I’ll find you!!”

I sat back on my bed trying to slow my heart back down. After calming myself down I climbed back under my covers. Another text came through and it was the number again. It was another picture of me looking around outside my window, then another picture showed up. This one is of my dorm room window again but the blinds are closed and you could see the glow of my light around the edges of the blinds. I started freaking out again to the point I started crying, I covered myself up completely. I guess I laid crying long enough that my mind and body decided I needed to fall asleep.

He dropped again, gasping. Elara did not move. She watched him suffer without satisfaction. Without cruelty. Only resolve. “So,” she said calmly. “Now you feel it.” Kael looked up at her, eyes burning. His gaze flicked to Mira. The truth hit him like a second blow. The Luna I rejected had returned. And she wasn’t mine anymore.

Saying it out loud made it real all over again, and I felt the sting of fresh tears in my own eyes. Rose stood suddenly, her movements sharp and full of emotion. Before I could react, she wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a fierce embrace. Her body trembled against mine, her tears dampening my shirt as she clung to me like I was her last anchor in a world that had spun out of control. “I’m so, so sorry,” she whispered, her voice thick with grief. “Ethan, I’m so sorry.”

She smiles through tears, tearing an heartwrecking sob from me at how soft her voice is, how it washes over me, how despite everything I have done she still smiles at me, they all do. "Look at me, Viola." She says, and I do. "Do this." She instructs, and I do as she say, fisting my hand and placing it on my chest. "Hold on." She says, and I nod through tears. "Hold on a little longer for us, please." She pleas, and I nod, softly hitting my heart with my fist. "You've always taken care of us, Viola, it is time we do the same." Xav says and I nod.

As a matter of fact, she was so lost in her own mind that she had no idea that someone was following her until he stepped out of the shadows and cleared his throat. “Is everything alright, Claudia? You’re normal more perceptive than this. I mean, I was able to follow you this whole time, yet you didn’t realize it,” Sean commented. “I did realize it,” Claudia lied, “but I chose not to react. Maybe you should try it sometimes.” “Sure,” mumbled Sean. “What was that?” “Nothing,” Sean said before he made a rose appear seemingly from thin air, “A beautiful rose for the even more beautiful Claudia.”

Rosalie swallowed hard then stared at his bemused expression " You made me believe that I can trust you but you just keep on hurting me " " I never hurt you " Rosalie turned to stare at him in disbelief ; she couldn't believe it , how can he not undrestand when she spelled it out everything aloud " If you can't understand what I'm saying then I won't waste my breath , take it as me talking non sense "
