Rose Clover Novels & Stories

I knew Orion did not mention the change in eye color to anyone and I had promised Flora not to utter a word about what happened. She smiled, "It's completely fine, you might be a later bloomer." I just kept the smile on my face. "Mom, if you have a moment can you see this?" Ruth called from the doorway. "I will be with you in a moment, dear," Celia turned towards me, "keep stirring and keep adding this, put 3 petals in one time and stop after adding 9." She did not wait for my response and left after pushing me in front of the cauldron. I immediately started stirring the liquid and managed to grab the yellow flower.

Ed threw the box in the satchel and mounted. They trotted forward for a while when Lara shrieked “Purple roses… I have to get them.” “That’s a not a rose” Ed pursed his lips “It’s Eustoma and not native to this reserve. But it starts with our alphabet E. My bet is that is our last clue.” “Anyway, Rose or Eus….. whatever, I want it.” Lara pouted. He stopped and dismounted. There was a trunk behind the shrub. “It’s here” Ed called out as he kneeled to open it. Lara pressed their buzzers.

Not with us yelling so our voice could cover the insane crowd noise. With a quick scan at the guy, black jersey like the black and gold player’s jersey, ripped-muscled legs and arms, I realized he is the footballer I claimed I recognized. He is Balorz, David’s friend. “You are Balorz,” I said. No way I could twist this around. “I am Balorz,” he confirmed, smiling. “Sorry. I should have been honest with you. I just don’t want to sound like a novice.” “No, it’s alright. I like you. You’re funny.”

her lips were curled into a soft, welcoming smile. I offered a small smile in return before muttering a soft "Hello" Lilo looked at me expectantly, waiting for me to say my name, but then sighed when she realized I wasn't going to. "Colleen, this is Rosalya, but she also goes by Rosie. She's Calix’s human mate!", Lilo said like if she were a proud mom. Oh my gosh, this girl. Colleen gasped, clamping her hands to her mouth with widened eyes. I shrunk into the bed a little as I wasn't really liking her reaction.

He kissed me back, hard and consuming, as if he could devour the pain right out of me. For a heartbeat, I let myself vanish in that kiss—pretend I was someone else, somewhere else, untouched by betrayal. The next thing I knew, the world blurred—his arm around me, the press of a door closing, sheets tangled beneath my trembling hands. Morning hit like a cruel joke. I woke tangled in unfamiliar sheets, my head pounding, my lips swollen. The stranger from the bar lay beside me, half-covered, the shadows of his muscles stark against the pale dawn light. Even asleep, he radiated danger, power… something I couldn’t name.

Rose I look straight into her light green eyes as she continues to choke me—blocking my windpipe. My hands are gripping onto hers, trying to find release but her grip only tightens. She roughly pushes me against the glass window as she leans her face ever so closely; finding some sort of joy from this.

“You bring me what you find. Discreetly. And in return… I offer you truths. About the attempt on your life. About the undercurrents in this castle that threaten far more than just your engagement.” The offer hung between them, heavy with risk and potential. Trusting a shadow was insanity. But refusing meant facing the labyrinth of Blackwood Castle blind, with assassins potentially at her back and her own brother pulling her strings towards ruin. Lysander represented an unknown variable, a wild card. But in a game rigged against her, a wild card might be her only chance. “How?” Vivian asked, her voice barely audible. “How do I contact you?” A small, dark object flew through the air. Vivian fl

the woman replied with confidence. “Ma'am, can you tell me more about the white rose, I mean, I didn't even know they existed.” “Oh, you're are only familiar with the red ones. Well, all I can say about the white rose is, it's beautiful, extremely rare, and expensive. One of a kind, if I may say.

Walking near one of the tables with the cast irons I see some herbs and various plants that I recall seeing in one of the books I've read. And in the table without the cast irons, I see it. A vase and some gloves. A vase that had a plant with rounded leaves and lobed segments of purple helmet shaped flowers. "Aconitum napellus. It's usually called Wolfsbane." Silas says behind me. I stare at it entranced. Who knew something so beautiful can be so deadly? Every part of Wolfsbane is poisonous, from its stem, leaves, and flowers. It has to be grown separate from other plants, accidentally touching it or even ingesting edible plants that might have been too near it will cause death.

The clover pendant on Harper’s necklace, which was originally hollow, is now filled with a single ‘leaf’. One-third of the clover is filled, and emits a faint light. And Harper feels a sudden surge of power pouring into her body. Like a wave of energy that lights her inside with a spark. And unlike before, Harper vaguely feels like the power is not going to dissipate. This seems permanent…
