Sitting up taller in her bed nervously looking up at him. ‘Unfortunately, Mrs. Samuels I do not have the best of news, is your husband here?’ He asked looking down at his chart. Blake entered back in the room quickly walking beside Dee on her bed and asked ‘Have I missed anything? Is she alright?’ Blakes colour from his face had drained, he looked like he was going to be sick Dee noticed and thought it must be because he is really worried about her and the babies.

The woman next to Drake nestled in his arms as if she had no backbone. Drake smiled triumphantly and said, "Don't say that, I'm not an excellent boyfriend. My annual salary is just one million. I’m still far away." Through his explicitly haughty tone, Yvonne knew that he was deliberately showing off. There was nothing for her to refute though, because Drake was indeed a very capable man, and someone with an annual salary of one million was truly admirable. "This... Isn't this the famous Samuel?" Drake asked with a mocking smile.

Drake said in an enthusiastic tone, having his eyes land on Sabrina. “Wow, that's good news. Chocolate during this season sure do sell high. By the way, this is my friend Sabrina.” He said, finally considering her presence. “Wait,” Said Drake with a pause. “You're not Sabrina Clarke, are you?” He added, focussing all of his attention on the blonde. “That's me.” Said Sabrina proudly as he stood there surprised. “Oh uhm, I'm Drake.” He said, lending out his hand for her to shake.

Samantha’s eyes became distant as she seemed to get lost in thought. “Ok, I think it’s time for me to go. Great chat guys.” Drake spoke over his shoulder as his parents kept throwing snide comments at each other. “Why couldn’t I have a nice family in a home surrounded by a white picket fence?” Drake asked himself, not caring if he was heard as he continued to walk away. “I had to get stuck with the literal devil as a fucking father.”

Drake stares at the both of us suspiciously, but I’m not sure he coded because Denver twists the conversation. "I'm in love with someone else, Drake. And don't ask me who. When he was out of sight, Drake gave me a once over. "I know what you are. You're disgusting and shouldn't be in this realm." Spit from his mouth hit my cheek while he spoke. I wiped it away. "What do you mean?" I asked, even though I somehow knew he knew what I was. Even though it was impossible. And at the moment, I wasn't supernatural, but just like him.
