Chapter 45 *Scarlett's POV* As I settled into the new city, it was a whirlwind of emotions and adjustments. I immersed myself in the project, finding solace in the fulfillment it brought. Yet, moments of longing for Alexander crept in, reminding me of the challenges that lay ahead. The unfamiliar streets and bustling crowds seemed to accentuate the absence of Alexander's familiar presence. She had come to the bathroom because she needed a place to sort out her emotions, but after seeing the two alphas, she felt like her emotions had miraculously sorted themselves. The alphas had more headaches than any emotions... Lucien raised a brow. "I'll be quick, then." He mumbled as his hand slipped into Scarlet's dress. Scarlet's eyes widened. "Quick with what? Her eyes bled with tears all through the journey and like a child who needs her mother during sorrow, Scarlet was holding herself to the moment where she could hug sister Mary and tell her everything that happened between her and Ace. No sooner she stepped at the orphanage where she was brought up her body and mind attained peace.
