She has her mother’s face and toothy grin. “How old?” is all I ask Mael.

That was when I realized Xander was still right there. He pushed me backwards gently and he caught Sabrina. “Stop it” he said, sternly, his jaw ticking. “Both of you,” he added. “Xander…” his mother trailed off and he turned to her. “She washes dishes at a cheap diner and works at a salon. Is that really who you want to make the Luna of Deathshade pack?” She asked, and I clenched my fists behind Xander. “Yes. A queen who works as hard as she can to achieve what she wants and doesn't just get handed everything like a spoiled child” he said, obviously taking a jab at Sabrina.

Scarlett breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Don't worry, Madam. I'll return as soon as I'm done. Stay put at the Solace residence. Text me if there's anything." Larissa asked, "What are you up to?" Scarlett gave a vague answer. "I have some business to attend to. I have to go now, bye!" She hung up the phone and continued stalking the truck ahead. She didn't know that Larissa had a smartphone application that tracked her movements. Larissa had noticed Scarlett's odd behavior and planted a tracker on her. With Miguel's return to the room, the two could come across two guys standing at his door, one with brown hair in a well-aligned haircut, a shaved beard and standing with his hands in his pockets while the other was talking super excitedly, gesturing a lot. This one had dark blond hair combed back. As Miguel approached the duo, he put his hand on Catherine's shoulder, making her look at him a little scared at first. His hand was warm, and he had to take a step to his side, which made her smell his wonderful scent. It was Miguel's perfume, with a woody odor that matched perfectly with his lumberjack style. The trance in her mind was broken when she heard him introduce her.

"Elena Scarlet has solved the death case previously ruled a suicide," the reporter stated. "She has finally exposed the real killer—Rosa, a close friend of the late Gloria.
