Just as the figure seemed ready to snap its jaws around him, it froze, its attention diverted to something beyond the officer. A faint whisper floated through the air, "Not yet.” The figure's face twisted into a snarl, yet it paused, its scars trembling with restraint. Seizing the moment, the officer scrambled backward, his gaze locked on the figure. As he regained his footing, another silhouette emerged from the shadows. A woman, tall and formidable, with piercing green eyes that seemed to penetrate the officer's very being, was Scarlett. "Let him go," she ordered, her voice deep and commanding.

Mia's POV "Walk!" I call after him, but he's not walking. He's definitely not walking.
