The Billionaire’s 30-Day Debt.

The Billionaire’s 30-Day Debt.

The "Bleeding Forest" did not end; it simply became more intentional. As Avery dragged the reinforced sled through the thickening violet fog, the chaotic tangle of the mangroves smoothed out into an aisle of gargantuan, white-barked trees that looked like bleached bone against the dark jungle floor. These weren't palms. They were Albizia Sombra—the "Ghost Trees" that only grew in the high-oxygen, high-protein soil of the island’s central spiral.

said Lisa. "Nice! Looks old, but well-maintained," remarked Nestie. "This balete tree though gives the place a haunted house look." Nestie looked at the huge balete tree and the long hanging roots that seemed to drip from the broad branches. "I know why people dislike this tree," said Nestie. "Because they are inhabited by supernatural beings?" asked Lisa smiling. "As kids, we were told to avoid harming or looking at this tree for fear of angering those who reside here. They just couldn't agree if it was a dwarf, a tree giant, or a white lady."

Captain Cook
Excellent book! Plenty of suspense with vivid descriptions of locations and characters! I've reached Chapter 169 and didn't see any issues. I hope the author updates soon with new chapters! Great work!

This is an extremely well-written book. Of all the books I’ve read on the platform, this author’s command of the English language is the best. The story is great and reminds me a lot of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Wanton Hearts

In a glimpse, they were at the forest in the back of the house. "Zac said they discovered the bodies here." Brie stared at the abundance of trees. She realized that they were floating and watching the trees from above. "Can you see that?" Vino pointed at the highest tree. "It is not an ordinary tree!" Brie stared at the biggest tree she had ever seen. "There are holes!" "I've read the tikbalangs' minds. This tree was their home until Ram tried to kill them." Vino came near until they could peep into the largest hole.

The Winter Fairy

It came closer and closer but covered with seaweed so Elena couldn't really know what she was about to fight against. The figure emerged out of the river completely running straight to Elena who already got ready to attack too. She dogged its attack and took off to the sky. Opening her plans she instantly freezes the monster slowly covering the entire body. “No! Don't attack him!” Bailey shouts from a distance shining a bright light at Elena making her fall down to the ground. Bailey quickly summons out some twigs which are wrapped against the monster. He loosened up the seaweed to discover it was Biddy, his brother.

Property of The Alpha

My eyes found Paige's wide hazel ones just as Balthazar broke out into an excited laugh. "Happy hunting." He said cheerily before vanishing in a cloud of black smoke. People started screaming in fear. Tree roots began shooting out of the ground, grabbing people and dragging them beneath the earth. I was frozen in place as I watched Balor and Balthazar work together. "Well, what are you waiting for?" Balor shouted over all the chaos around us; I turned to him, his hands in his pockets, as he leaned against a tree like he was watching some street fight unfold. I arched a brow at him. He gave me a subtle nod, the corner of his mouth tipping up.

This book is shaping up to be amazing. I really love the mystery and intrigue. This Author is seriously under-rated and I’d like to generate some love out there. This way she can continue to feel encouraged to write more. To the Author, great job so far keep it up!

Wow. Mrs.rie has done it again! Another fantastic book. I am so excited to see how this ends. I love that she included some characters from her previous series. Colette and Zane are such a power couple and I just love how badass everyone is! If you haven’t read this yet, what are you waiting for!!?

Raising My Enemy's Disciple

Raising My Enemy's Disciple

The child stood somewhere within its depths, waiting to collide with their carefully woven fates. After navigating through dense thickets and under canopies of ancient trees, they arrived at the towering Narra tree, a magnificent giant whose roots sprawled like serpents across the forest floor. It was a sacred landmark, and Elena’s pulse quickened at the sight. This was where Alterna had glimpsed the child. “Do you see anything?” Elena asked, scanning the area around the grand tree, her heart racing with an urgency founded in both fear and hope. Alterna crouched low, her perceptive eyes analyzing the shadows cast by the sun filtering through the leaves. “Not yet, Master. But I can sense fear

The Alpha's Reject - Hell Knows No Greater Fury!

Aria said, as she flew ahead of me, taking me to a different path from the Beta's. They were ahead of me, so they didn't notice when I went in another direction or maybe they did and realized I could handle myself on my own now as their guide. Aria soon brought me to a tree with a smooth bark that was short and wasn't so tall. "To get ropes Baela, you must strip the bark of this tree with a special technique I am going to show you. It will spill out cleanly as ropes in large quantity". She said. "Okay". I was paying close attention.

The Huntress - Luna Eileen

It slammed into the man’s chest, sliding all the way to the hilt. Bile rose in my stomach. “Come. There are more fundamental lessons for you to learn about our ways.” Morrigan wandered off through the trees, leaving the men pinned to the trees. Her black dress fluttered on a fantom breeze as she disappeared around a tree. I rushed to catch up only to find her entering a clearing. “Look around and tell me what you see, Eileen.” Trees spiraled out from this clearing. As I looked, I realized the spirals were each a unique species of tree! Elm, Oak, Ash, Hawthorn, Elderberry, and tall cedars. “Sacred trees.”

Normally not a witch/werewolf fan but this novel held my interest. The history research done by the author makes the characters more real. I’m really enjoying the suspense, surprise, humor and the love scenes are pretty hot and descriptive. Keep up the good work!
Angelis
Very nice writing style. The author is able to portray scenes in a vivid way and bring them to life. I would suggest to keep the flow going throughout the chapter. If not possible then put the time skip in the next chapter.
