Marcus said, grabbing a marshmallow and sliding it onto a skewer, "if it's up to me, I'm going to stuff you with marshmallows and anything else you want." He waited until it was perfectly golden, then placed it in my mouth, watching with clear amusement as I tried to chew and smile at the same time. "And if it's scary stories you're missing," he added, his eyes glinting mischievously in the firelight, "I can start fixing that right now." Several people around the bonfire leaned in, clearly intrigued by the idea of a scary story. "Oh, hell no!" Mia protested immediately, jumping to her feet. "I'd rather go to bed early than listen to one of your horror stories, Marcus!"

Feeling the weight of the moment, I cleared my throat and began my tale. "In a small village, there was a haunted mansion. It was said that the spirit of a vengeful witch roamed the halls, seeking revenge on anyone who dared to enter her domain..." I let my imagination run wild, conjuring spine-chilling scenes and mysterious characters. The pack leaned in closer, their eyes wide with fascination, hanging onto every word I spoke. The suspenseful atmosphere made my heart race with excitement.

The guys were already challenged because they can’t object at that moment owing to the one fact that a girl was already bold. They wouldn’t want to be the weak ones. “Please don’t make it too scary…. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

We started setting up tents and sleeping bags. A little after dark, we began roasting smores, laughing and telling stories. "Okay, I got a good one, the story of the swamp boogey monster." Trent said. "Heard it, it's not scary" Kayla dismissed. "I assure you its a certified scare alright" Trent bragged.

Tilting his chin with a sly grin, “Say please.” She arched an intimidating brow before flipping him off and we were drowning in our own laughter. Huddy sighed, shaking his head but not entirely surprised. “Dean, what do you want us to do?” Dean’s orbs practically light up, scooting to the edge of his seat. “Let’s tell scary stories.” Imogen snorted, “Out of all your ideas, that is the least problematic.” “I’m in.” Ari perked. A wide smile spreading across Lila’s face. “I’m so in.”

The distance between her and the ground did not harrow her. It amazed her at how different she’s lurking around where the normal people might not even stare without a wave of nausea washing over them. An urge to smoke-filled her; she fetched a pack from the inside pocket of her dark blue jacket; ignited the flame, mumbling, “Every legendary story is a pent-up frustration of human beings to invoke fear in the minds of those whom they hate.
