What they mean is that in this world, there are not only humans that exist, there are...what humans call 'mythical creatures' or 'supernatural beings' such as werewolves, vampires, witches, faes, mermaids which exist as well." They were so many and of different types- squids with horns and razor-sharp teeth, giant spiders, giant centipedes with human legs, giant flies with long tentacles and sharp claws and many others that couldn't be exhaustively described. Some were even difficult to describe. And they all approached the queen for one sole reason- torture. "He will destroy you Frost." Sandra's voice echoed after Frost for the last time as he left with his batallion of soldiers.

"We've made progress." I raised an eyebrow, not liking the sound of that. "Progress? Tell me about it". He hesitated for a moment, then motioned for Clinton and me to sit. "Ok, then. These creatures... they're more dangerous than we realized." I crossed my arms, leaning back in my chair. "I thought we already knew that." The scientist swallowed hard, clearly uncomfortable. "Yes, but I've discovered something crucial. These creatures are like vampires... but not exactly. They share similar traits, but there's one big difference."

The meeting’s moderator announced and for the first time, I felt fear rake through me violently. “What do you mean by other creatures? We don’t own this planet alone and have so many animals and species living freely?” Someone asked, and several others in the room chorused their agreement. I kept my face impassive. Although I had a suspicion, I also still needed to watch it play out. “I’m talking about creatures that are like us humans but have some abilities but a different gene build,” the moderator continued with a dry chuckle. “The kind that is referred to as myths and fantasy.”

Isla’s heart raced as she felt the presence of more than just the intruder. The door creaked open, and a group of pale creatures stepped into the room, their movements fluid and eerily graceful. They were unlike any beings Isla had ever encountered. Their skin was a ghostly white, almost luminescent in the dim light, and their features were sharp and angular, giving them an otherworldly beauty that was both captivating and terrifying. Long, slender limbs ended in delicate fingers, and their eyes glowed with an unnatural light—somewhere between the deep crimson of a vampire’s thirst and the piercing gold of a wolf’s gaze.

She was so weak and had to calculate with her head how long they had flown. Their appearances scared her. What type of beasts were these? Where did they come from? They didn't even look the closest to humans to all. They looked like all these creatures created by movie makers in thriller action movies - only if they knew that these creatures they used CGI to create were real. As the creatures slowly approached her, she crawled backward in a weak state. "We are going to kill you first and then eat you, you look yummy." One of them said. His voice was ugly to listen and if he had to sing, Jane was sure that the dead would rise to stone him to death.
