Caitlin had stepped out of the room to take a phone call. This was his chance! He quickly left his room and went to confront Caitlin. Caitlin, standing in a quiet corner of the hallway, was talking on the phone when she felt someone walking behind her. Instinctively, she turned around to see Scott approaching. “Scott!” she said coldly. “Caitlin! I didn’t expect you to have so much power, hooking up with NO.8’s Benjamin!” Scott sneered. “Does it concern you?” Caitlin was done with him and didn’t feel like wasting time. She started to walk away, but Scott blocked her path.

Scott asked as he ambled out of his room looking like he had just rolled out of bed, his voice husky. "Watching Sins of Passion!" I exclaimed, bouncing up and down on the couch. Scott raised an eyebrow. "Sins of what now?” Hayden poked his head back to look at him. “Passion, man! It’s good stuff.” Scott opened his mouth to say something then shook his head in dismissal. “You know what? I don't want to know." He shuffled into the kitchen, still half asleep, and made his way to the refrigerator taking out a carton of milk.

A luxurious helicopter descended with precise control before landing beside the platform from earlier. The cabin door opened. A man in a perfectly tailored suit stepped out in front of everyone. His hair was slicked neatly back, and a pair of gold-rimmed glasses rested on his face. Behind those lenses, his eyes carried an effortless sense of superiority, along with a coldness hidden beneath the surface of his gentle appearance. Scott had arrived. Click! Her eyelids were about to give in when she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Sorry, Mrs. Hamilton, but there are a couple of people outside who need to speak with you." She nodded and stepped out, while the doctor stayed behind with Scott. Scott was still in critical condition, drifting in and out of consciousness, hallucinating most of the time. It took two more days before the antivenom and his own body finally began to win the fight. When he woke up, the first person he saw was a nurse asleep in a chair beside his bed. Scott's lips tightened—no matter how much he hated to admit it, that spot should've been Alexia's. But she wasn't there. Instead, it was a stranger.

I was ready to get this whole thing over and done with, ungodly hour or not. I showered to warm up and clear my head. Then I dialed Scott and ordered him to come over. When he started to grumble, I sharply reminded him that this was his call in the first place. A few minutes later, he and four of his men joined us in one of the empty conference rooms on the first floor. “You were right,” I said to Scott. He was in his late thirties with sandy brown hair and brown eyes, an oddly ordinary-looking man for such a profession as ours. Luckily, he was the kind to spare no one’s feelings or have the patience to lie.

Hiedi jumped out in time, just before the blades matched with the slate flooring. Jack slammed into Scott—elbows, knees, a war of edges. Scott moved like a bad dream—stronger than math, faster than sense. “You can’t beat me, Jack!” he roared. “I’m invincible!” “Too much of anything kills,” Jack said, knifing another syringe into his ribs. Scott laughed; the laugh broke. Veins flashed black. Bone creaked. Claws and horn and nightmare peeled out of him like a confession.

SCOTT MADE ANOTHER DRIVE past the house. He'd gone by once every hour for the last five hours, and still, he didn't see any movement within the condo. Either Fiona and the Hulk were fucking, or they'd split. The only way Scott could find out was to go looking for himself. Time to see if he'd successfully hacked her house. He parked his car around the corner and down almost a block, far enough away it wasn't noticeable, but still close enough he could make it there in a sprint. He could only hope that the Hulk wasn't much of a runner.

Leo shouted and cussed but all he heard was the sound of their van driving away. Jill smiled evilly and moved further inside, he closed the door and locked it. "Who are you?" Leo shouted as he watched Jill lock the door. Scott already walked in through the back door and was waiting to catch Leo. Leo turned back to run but was met by a man who had an evil grin on his face. Leo could identify him by the dangerous aura emitting from him. "Hi and welcome to your hell" Scott said and walked directly in front of Leo who was shaking.

We charge forward, our weapons menacing and ready. Scott's men are caught off guard, shocked at how we can penetrate their territory. A few minutes later, shouts and cries of pain rented the air as they began to fall dead in their numbers. The chaos must have alerted Scott because he appeared, running in our direction. He halted in his tracks when he saw the sight before him. A sheer look of terror appeared in his eyes as he abruptly turned around and began to run. SCOTT'S POV I was seated in my study, going through a list of weapons my men need to make their training efficient. The hallway through it, I heard a deafening sound like a gate shattering.

“Hey! Are you going home now? The party has just begun…” Out of curiosity, Scott looked at Patty from what he saw the girl is struggling to compose herself because of the after-effect of something and that is the DRUGS. He already know what was happening and who was the mastermind. He's fucking a so-called friend enemy in secret. A party drug! “Let's get her out of here before she starts hallucinating… Quick! Follow me to my car!”
