" Waiting for Ryan and Alexandra to leave, Dave grumbled. They said something or giggled, but I was unable to hear it clearly. "I can't smell her blood?" Tobb narrowed his eyes and stroked his chin. "Whatever, let's go." Amber said and pulled Scarllee who was still staring with annoyance in her eyes.

Undermine something that should have been so precious. "What the fuck!" Amber screamed as she clutched her cheek in anguish. Tears had sprung into her eyes whilst a red mark formed clearly on her cheek. She could be glad I didn't punch her. But a bitch deserved a bitch slap. Hissing through my teeth, I straightened my spine, towering over the girl with my extended height.

What I saw next stopped me cold. Amber stood in the center of the bathroom, gripping the sink with trembling hands. Her skin was slick with sweat, her body tense like something was fighting its way out from within. Her eyes—Oh my—her eyes glowed a sharp, unnatural yellow, and her features had twisted, just slightly, but enough to make my heart pound. Her pupils were thin slits, and her face bore the briefest flicker of something… feral. She looked like someone caught between two worlds, and neither of them was ours.

She screamed turning to him making fingers sink deeper as Noah screamed in agony. "Speak Flith." She says as he screams "They'll kill him." and I sigh opening my shirt knowing I had to be just as ruthless. "Aaawww... You think We sweet and cuddly... BITCH! We are you worse fucken nightmare... when I'm done You will have no fucken limbs... SPEAK and we will give you a sweet death not a painful one." Amber says as Noah's eyes widen and watches me extend my claws approach with my wolf coming forward as the stench of him peeing himself fills the room.

Hints of copper and honey swirled within them, sharp and piercing. Her eyes were amber, like that of a...vampire.

Her reddened eyes grew more insane. “Die! Stay still! Die! Die! Die! Don’t move, aaaahhh!” Clutching her head as she screamed, she almost dropped her weapon. Diana took this chance to cross the distance between them. Leaning closer to the crouching Amber, Diana pressed her finger lightly against Amber’s chapped lips. “Ssshhh! Or else you will wake those whom you have slaughtered like livestock.”

Her blood-red lips parted with her labored breaths. His eyes snapped towards her frightened ones. Her eyes~ They were black abyss. Her flame-like eyes were gone and in their place were blood-red orbs that were surrounded by darkness, even the white of her eyes has turned black with tears flowing in them. Instantly she turned her back on him. And there Darach was greeted by another horror. Amber's once smooth and flawless back was covered with scars and they weren't normal scars. From the look of them, someone has thrown acid on her back or set her back on fire.

CHAPTER HUNDRED-THIRTY-EIGHT *Will she be able to pull this off?* "Forget I ever said that!" Amber shrieked. "if this goes out to the hearing of others ...you all are soooo dead understand ?! Her eyes burned violently and the whites of her eyes turned pink as she zeroed in her gaze on Hannah's. A cold shiver trickled down her spine. She gulped and nodded frantically as do the others. Amber's throat worked on a swallow.

God… that hurt more than the betrayal itself. Amber sucked in a deep breath and poured herself another glass. She drank it in one long pull, trying so desperately to hold back the tears burning behind her eyes. Damon appeared just then, stopping in front of her. He didn't sit right away. He watched her silently for a moment before finally lowering himself into the chair beside her. He reached for her hand, but Amber jerked away instantly. "Get out!" she yelled, rising to her feet. "I'm sorry, Bree. I… I know I messed up. I just..."

“We’ve got plenty of things to discuss.” “I’m glad we see eye to eye, Alpha Bryan,” Amber said and lifted her glass. “To a fruitful partnership, Luna Amber,” Bryan said and clinked his glass against Amber’s. She’d already special ordered the herbs that would cloud Troy’s mind enough to make him forget Reese. The mark would wither and disappear and she’d be there, waiting with open arms. Amber smiled and took a sip from her bourbon, she’d be waiting patiently.
