At the door I looked back. Serena was in the common room at the low table, sitting on the floor at child height, with Abena beside her and a book open between them. Abena was not reading. She was looking at the pages. And Serena was not performing anything. She was just there. Present. In the room. The most real I had ever seen her. I went home.

"I believe you're Seraphyne Voss, formerly known as the Crimson Empress, Void-tier Awakener, and the final antagonist the novel never properly resolved." She set her cup down. "My name," she said, "is Sera. I sell dry goods in a refugee camp. I have been here for two years. I pay my taxes, I manage my inventory, and I do not make trouble for the Imperial administration." She looked at him with grey eyes that were completely calm and completely unreadable. "I am not," she said, "whoever you think I am." Kael had prepared for this response as well.

"The Pakhan isn't here, Alexei. And I am tired of staring at the ceiling." Alexei walked into the room, his boots heavy on the floor. He stopped a few feet behind her. He didn't reach for her, but he watched her with the intensity of a man looking for a trap. "You Morettis are all the same. High drama and secrets. You look like you’re about to faint again." "Then let me faint," Serena snapped, finally turning to face him. Her hair was a mess of dark waves, and her eyes were bright with feverish defiance. "At least the floor doesn't ask me questions."

I looked at Ares. Then Kael. They are waiting for us. Ares unsheathed his sword. Then let us end this. Before any of us could take another step the ground split with a deafening crack. A massive stone door slowly rose from the earth directly in front of us revealing a chamber bathed in silver light. Standing at the end waiting as though she had known we would arrive at this exact moment was Serena. She smiled. “I was beginning to wonder what was taking you so long”

Indeed, Kade climbed out and began walking up the path with short, quick strides. Serena's heart thudded as she rushed to the foyer and briefly smoothed her hair down in the hallway mirror before flinging the door open. "Alpha Kade!" Serena trilled, smiling warmly. "To what do we owe the pleasure?" Kade's expression was cold and calculated. Serena resisted the temptation to twist her hands nervously as she stood in front of the Alpha who was both terrifying and incredibly handsome. That square jawline covered in dark stubble ticked as he looked at her.

Writer’s POV Serena stood frozen in the hallway, her heart pounding as she stared at the familiar figure approaching her. The dim lighting made her question what she was seeing at first, but as he got closer, there was no doubt about it. It was Alec. “What are you doing here?” she whispered, her voice barely audible. Her eyes darted around nervously, checking to see if anyone else was around. Alec moved closer to her, his steps careful and quiet. “Serena, I came to get you out of here.”

Now she would see if they could fight against wolves that thought and acted like them. "It's all happening according to our plans Jayden",she said to the black wolf beside her. "Soon we will have the chosen one. And my era will begin!". ______________________________________ "Kendrick",Serena whispered as she opened her eyes. Her vision was blurry but she would know Kendrick anywhere, even in the dark. "My love",Kendrick whispered and gently pulled her into his arms, careful not to touch the wound on her neck. Xavier and Melody quietly left the room, giving the Alpha and his mate some privacy.

There were so many books there, and it would probably take a lot of time. "Hey... here it is..." Serenity instantly muttered as she read a book title. "It's a book about The Moon Stone Pack. I hope, there's information I need inside this book right now." Serenity immediately picked up the book, then walked over to the sofa inside the library, carrying the book now. Serenity sat on the sofa, then began to open the book, and read the contents there.

She mumbled making my lips twitch. “Men do not have beautiful eyes.” I pointed out. “But their lips are beautiful when they release a smile.” She retorted pecking them. “You are the reason for them.” I whispered with sleep consuming me slowly. “I better be.” She warned and snuggled still laying over me before we both let the sleep consume us. *Counil’s Pov* “We can see that you are having a difficulty with ruling Agatha.” Elder one uttered glancing at Vali, the King of the Tanika which is the second best Kingdom after Agatha and the new ruler of Agatha.

Alpha Jackson concludes. Nodding to her father and myself, Kate turns away and heads back to her suite to get ready. Looking at Boyd as he comes out of the room, alone, he walks up to Alpha Jackson to try and maybe apologize but Alpha Jackson throws his hand up and walks away. Looking at Boyd one last time, I too walk away and start praying to the Moon Goddess she makes this right. Kate POV
