I had never seen her this distraught, this broken, and it took every ounce of self-control I had not to shift right there and hunt down whoever was responsible for her pain. I rushed to her side, pulling her into my arms and pressing a gentle kiss to the top of her head. "What the hell is happening?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm despite the rage building in my chest. "Why are you crying like this? Talk to me, baby." Instead of answering, Serena just hugged me tighter and cried even harder. Her tears soaked through my shirt, and I could feel her entire body trembling against mine. Whatever had happened, it was worse than I had imagined.

She buried her face in her hands and cried hard, and something softened in Owen's and Logan's faces despite themselves. Once, the moment Serena cried I'd have apologized, no questions asked. Not this time. I didn't feel a thing. “We'll know the truth soon enough.” I told my assistant to bring the truth potion. Only when she saw it did Serena finally look afraid. She clamped her mouth shut and refused to drink. My assistant forced it down her throat the same way they'd once forced it on Elena. The second it went down, Serena's lips started moving on their own.

SELENA Don't cry? The word sounded ridiculous to my ears. Why wouldn't I cry when they all treated me this way? Alpha Raviel seemed to understand my thoughts as he sat before me and sighed. His golden eyes lowered slightly, and his lips parted. "You also don't want this, do you?" He asked. My body trembled. How did he know this? "We felt like you weren't willing, so we stopped." Alpha Severin explained. His fingers stroked my hair.

Aria fires from the side, wicked gleam in her eye. “I did not cry,” I snap, indignant. I peek sheepishly-embarrassed at Noah. “You did that weird hiccup thing,” she counters, and she’s laughing so hard her whole body shakes. I look at her in awe and realize … she’s my new shiny truck. The best things in life money can’t buy. “Those were emotion-suppressed hiccups. Totally different,” I murmur, voice rough and ragged with emotion. “And everyone cries when Snape dies. Except maybe Jackson. That bastard’s heart is bulletproof.”

Chapter 9 Whimpering, Serena sniffed, tears slipping out of her eyes. She'd never been this hurt before... No, this wasn't hurting. It was killing her. She didn't know how she would face the world after this. She wanted to die. " You monster..." She groaned, anger and pain mixed as one. A body hovered above her and she squirmed in fear. It placed a kiss on her cheeks and Serena would have swiped it off if she had strength left in her body.

Whether he was Morgan or Draco, she didn't want him in her life anymore. Morgan raised his hand to wipe away her tears; he just couldn't keep seeing her crying so hysterically and heartbroken. But when she saw his action, she flinched and backed away from him with her eyes filled with fear. His pupils shrank violently as he stared at her. ‘She was afraid of him. Did she think he would hurt her?’ He thought.

His voice cracked, voice thick with tears and rage. The healer said nothing, simply watching helplessly as Severus broke down, tears streaming down his face. Severus was grieving his best friend, his brother-in-arms, and the sight of him in such pain was almost too much to bear. The healer, caught between professional duty and compassion, struggled to understand the torrent of grief crashing over Severus.

Serena's POV Tears continued rolling down my cheeks helplessly as I looked at Harry, trying to get answers from his eyes but I could only see coldness in it. He wasn't saying anything. He should be explaining now but he's not. He's just standing there looking at my face. On his left hand was a gun just like his cousin. My lips trembled as I sucked my breath and wiped the tears on my cheeks. Crying for someone like him isn't worth my time. I should stop shedding tears for a person who played me for a fool. However, I still want to hear his reasons. I deserve an explanation, right?

I reply with tears strolling down my cheeks. " Artic, please don't cry! I promise we will figure it out soon," He tells me. " You weren't able to find anything out of this one either huh?" Shawn asks, picking up the book about vampires and their mates, flicking through the pages. I go to respond to his question about the book he's holding. When his breathing becomes ragged, clutching the book in his grasp, looking at me then back at the pages, before he drops the book on the floor.

Then, something I never expected happens. His face softens. His lips tremble. His eyes glisten. He hug me. And then—he cries. Sebastian Frost, the man who never lets emotions show so easily, is crying. I’m happy that he is crying because of happiness. But tears well up in my eyes for an entirely different reason. And then, I let out a sob. Sebastian immediately pulls back, concern flashing across his face. “Hey, why are you crying?” I shake my head, but the sobs keep coming. This is something that has been clawing at my heart ever since I left that clinic earlier today.
