Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

The morning light filtered weakly through the curtains, casting fractured patterns on the floor — much like my thoughts, splintered and jagged. I sat at the small kitchen table, clutching my cup of cold coffee, staring at the leather-bound book *Reflections of the Forgotten* open before me. The stories inside weren’t just tales — they were warnings, lessons written in sorrow and hope. Women who had lived as shadows, trapped in lives borrowed from others, fighting to reclaim their own reflections.

Shadowed Crown

Shadowed Crown

The freaky end of days was coming. I faced the camera, my voice steady for all the people in the city to hear. "The freaky apocalypse is here, folks. I'm going to help you out as best I can. First up, find cover where the wind can't get you, subways, basements, factories, banks, any safe spot." Lights flickered on in every underground parking lot. The ground rumbled with a deep roar, setting the stage for Jim as he led his crew of infant spirits into a clash with the Haunts that sliced through the wind.

Shadow's Essence

Shadow's Essence

And the fact that maintaining distance feels increasingly like loss is merely coincidental. A perfect, rational plan that Elaric Nox, Lord of House Nox and master of shadow disciplines, would implement with characteristic thoroughness. If only the memory of her wouldn't persist like shadow that refused to be commanded—present even when not directly observed, persistent despite his most disciplined attempts at compartmentalization. If only the knowledge that he would see her again tomorrow didn't create anticipation entirely inappropriate to professional training session. If only the contract that had seemed so perfectly designed to avoid emotional complications hadn't somehow created exactly

Shadowed Match

Shadowed Match

Right after I spoke, Isolde screamed, pulling one assassin her way. Thorne moved back to shield her. All his focus was on Isolde, and he did not see another assassin coming at me. I could feel the poison coursing through my veins. My sight was fuzzy, and I was quickly losing my grip on consciousness. Through the blur, I thought I saw someone bravely step in front of me and kick the assassin's blade away... When I woke up, my four friends who might one day be more than just friends were all by my bedside.

I couldn't remember. But I remembered Noora and I knew who she was... What am I forgetting? A man said, “we really thought she would wake up by now. The longer it goes on there is a good chance she may have amnesia when she finally wakes.” Fantastic! Come on hands don't fail me now, try and move! Come on eyeballs let's open up!! What are you waiting for! I heard another voice that I recognized as my dad. He sounded really tired and his voice was strained.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

Arrange Marriage With Alpha Alex

Arrange Marriage With Alpha Alex

It was almost ten at night when they arrived. Earlier that day, Tammy had come by the Ashly too, before her afternoon shift started at the same hospital. After a few tests, it was determined that Ashly had post-traumatic amnesia because some gave her something like some old herb that was used over time so the person could forget about certain things, and she told them that Ashly's memories would most likely return slowly within the day, or the longest would be more than a month. She had also encouraged Ashly to return with Alex to their own apartment. She told them that being surrounded by familiar objects, photographs, or smells might help Ashly regain her memories faster. Alex told Ashly t

I am obsessed with this book. Alex made me mad with the way he treated his mate. He always put his precious jasmine first. Even after he knew he was in love with Ashly. He chose another over his Luna.

FRAGILE PROMISES

FRAGILE PROMISES

The air was thick with anticipation, as if the walls themselves held countless untold stories. I approached the reception desk, where a young woman with piercing blue eyes and an enigmatic smile greeted me. Her name tag read "Lena." "Welcome to Memoria," she said, her voice soft yet confident. "How may I assist you today?" "I... I've heard that you can erase memories," I stammered, my voice barely above a whisper. "Is it true?" Lena nodded, her gaze unwavering. "Yes, it's true. Memoria specializes in memory alteration. We help individuals who seek to escape the pain of their past, to start anew."

Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

I had just said I was cured and escaped back into the cup of trouble and misery. If only I had gone to the cemetery, the one place that gave me a sense of peace, but I found myself in my house. I stopped straight at the liquor collection I owned, picked up a bottle of brandy and drank straight from it. I drank more and more hoping the memories and remorse would give me peace, but it didn’t. The more I drank, the more my mind became foggy, and the memories seemed more and more present. All the pain from the past came flooding back to me and I could feel it as if it was happening all over again, remembering every single detail. I could even hear the squeal of the wheels. I could even feel the

CARRY ME AWAY

CARRY ME AWAY

"You're not going to regain your memory overnight." Her eyebrows puckered in frustration. "I know that, but when I try to sleep, my dreams are fragmented and confusing, and there's so much I don't understand. I see shadows and I feel like I'm running from something or someone, but I can't grasp what the threat is… or if it's even real." Amara’s voice quivered, and he suspected her subconscious was trying to break through with the truth. Her big green eyes stared up at him as if Reece held the answers to her secrets and the key to all her hidden depths.

I LOVE the characters and the story so far!!!! Amara is like someone you’d want to be friends with in real life, and the way Reece is portrayed so far is refreshing - he’s charming and irresistible, but I love the respect he has for Amara. And the mystery unfolding - I can’t wait for future updates!

Another great book by this author. I’m never disappointed with the quality of writing. Reading this book makes you feel like you’re a part of the story. The emotions were high and the book ended on a high note.

Fate's Shadow

Fate's Shadow

I stated before entering the bathroom for a shower. I stood beneath the shower as the water poured down, feeling lost. I had no idea what to do. Where could I even go? Much like Emily and Ava, I was trapped. I couldn't leave without an invitation because I was his luna. I couldn't imagine finding love. Nobody would be willing to try it with me. I felt trapped. I remained under the shower, tears streaming down my face. I tried to toughen my mind for the bad days coming, but it proved impossible. My heart was shattered, and fear held me tightly.
