Shadow

Shadow

Amari POV: It's been 36 hours of doing nonstop training and Shadow said the reason I'm controllable now and I quote is because "now I know the truth". I guess it helps but it hurts turning into 'obsidian' Well that's what the men here call me behind Shadow's back cause my eyes turn pitch black "Amari are you ready" one of the men says as they knock on my door "Yeah uhm I just need a second" I shout back.

Moonlit Shadows

Moonlit Shadows

She takes my hand in hers and squeezes it gently. "We are werewolves, not monsters," she says softly. "Our pack is called the Shadows and is led by Gabriel Valley. He became our leader after his father's death some months ago." I sigh and turn to look at her. Her blue eyes look sad as she stares at me. "I promise you my child, you are not a monster. Being different is your greatest power," she whispers, grazing her fingers across my eyebrows. "You'll see," she adds with a faint smile. I stare at her drowning in my thoughts. I think about everything. Me. Them. The pack. I'd have sworn last night was just a dream but I know what I saw and felt. It was all too real. "Your father and I are going

The Shadow Guard

The Shadow Guard

Kruz said. “I think only my dad knows, well and me, who our Shadows are.” Ali stated. “Daniel, do you have any Shadows in your pack?” Dakota asked. “Aside from Amy?” He asked with a snicker. “Nope, not that I’ve seen.” He lightly laughed. “I don’t think I would even know how to identify a possible Shadow.” He admitted. “Amy can help you with that when she gets there.” Kasper said, looking at Amy. “She’ll let us know if anyone shows potential.” Kyde told them.

Marry Me, Madison

Marry Me, Madison

I grabbed the slippers on the floor and slowly opened the door. I can still feel the chills and fear whenever I remember that. Sometimes I feel fortunate to have that memory kept because I was diagnosed with selective amnesia. It's where I lose my memory about that one... memory from the past. Although I can't remember it completely, I knew that something happened that night. The only thing I can remember after that was staring at the shadows in front of me. They said it was supposed to be the person but... Due to the shock, I forgot what it really looks like, instead, it looks like shadows and silhouettes of two person.

A Sacred Place

A Sacred Place

“You… you!” He sputtered as he fought against the shadow. “How could you… get the gift…?” His face was full of a rage that caused my heart to explode in panic, as panic erupted throughout me I watched the shadow figure glimmer out of focus. Aamon pushed against him standing taller than I thought was possible, his face hot with hatred staring down at me. I felt my body tremble against my will as it felt like my lungs were deflating, I gasped as he barged into my brain. Horrified and unable to move I watched as he dragged up the memories of Sera, mixing all the good ones with my final one.

The Shadow Alpha

The Shadow Alpha

My smile dropped at the woman who stood frozen with her eyes wide in shock, she was staring at nothing in particular with a mixture of sadness, fear, confusion but most prominently anger in her grey eyes. Her expression caused everyone’s smiles to drop; I took a step closer to her and placed my hands on her shoulders. I looked into her wide eyes and felt Shadow stir restlessly. ‘What is the Shadow? Shadow’s agitation was affecting me. ‘Mate!’ I was taken aback by her reaction; ‘Shadow, this is Tatiana not D-’ I cut myself off and swung around to look at Devin. I looked into his confused eyes and was met with grey eyes strikingly identical to those I stared into just seconds ago.

I absolutely loved this book. I had a hard time putting it down. Well structured and well written. I'm looking forward to hopefully reading a sequel. I'd love to see what Mother Selene has in store for Allison.

2/3rd of this book was incredibly good. Then it started skipping and jumping ahead which made it feel like there were a lot of things left unsaid and unfinished, also quite a few things were left unanswered and so many questions remain. The ending was left in a cliffhanger and that was about 1yr ago

The Abandoned Luna's Return

The Abandoned Luna's Return

They were displaying **me**. A live feed from the park showed me sitting on the bench. A live feed from my bedroom showed me sleeping. They had been watching me since the moment I "Woke Up" in 1998. "Initiate the 'Amnesia-Protocol' tonight," Aris said, his shadow falling across the keyboard. "By tomorrow, she’ll be a normal girl again. And we can get back to work on the Shroud." I backed away, my heart feeling like it was being crushed by a cold, obsidian hand.

Luna's Shadow

Luna's Shadow

031 The world outside the car was a blur of dark trees and silver moonlight, but inside, the silence was heavy enough to choke. Rebecca leaned her head against the cold glass of the window, her breath coming in short, jagged hitches. The Moonblight Serum was a cruel passenger in her blood, turning her thoughts into frayed threads that refused to weave together. And every time she tried to remember the path they were taking, the image dissolved into a smear of grey.
