The howling wind outside added a disturbing atmosphere to her exploration. Nicholas pushed the door open with the butt of his gun, revealing a room covered in shadows. His heart pounded in his ears as he stepped inside. The room was deserted, save for a desk bathed in the dim light coming in through the dusty window. On the table lay a journal, its pages aged by time. Nicholas hesitated for a moment, then reached for it, flipping through its fragile pages. The writing within spoke of despair, of a man haunted by his past, wrestling with regret and guilt. Amidst the scribbles, there was one that stood out:

But when I open them again and look towards where he is, I still see black leather wings and crimson eyes. His fighting is even more impressive than what I’ve seen in Sahara’s gladiator ring. When the shadow aims some kind of power, he flies back, flips, and lunges at what I assume is its head. He flaps his wings, pushing the shadow back and aims his sword over it, cutting through it. He twirls again and piercing the center of the shadow over and over again until the shadow fractures and shatters into a million pieces. As soon as that happens, the fog fades, and the dark monster disappears, leaving the shadows of the true darkness behind.

I asked utterly shocked " You just found out about your identity and you are already mastering on it." " I don't know. It just comes inside of me naturally.
