I sprinted forward, slashing my dagger through the wolf’s side, deeper this time. The beast howled in agony, collapsing to the ground as the shadows around it faded completely.

They were surrounded by danger, and they seemed destined to fail. But Shadow took pity on them and decided to stay and help. It used all it had learned on its journey to help the pack find strength and unity. And under Shadow's guidance, the pack thrived.
