They flowed into me from every direction, dissolving into my skin, my bones, my very breath. The pain was overwhelming. But beneath the pain… There was something else. Recognition. The void wasn't invading me. It was returning. My body trembled as the darkness continued pouring into me. The endless shadows that once surrounded the world now gathered inside my chest, swirling around my heart like a storm. Chaos stepped back, watching. The white space had completely vanished now. Only darkness remained. And it was listening to me. My hands began to glow faintly with violet light as shadows curled around my fingers like obedient serpents.

The hand of golden light reached through the Shadow’s broken chest. Time seemed to stop. The battlefield fell into absolute silence as every eye turned toward the impossible sight. The golden hand did not resemble the silver light of the Creator or the black darkness of the Shadow. It shone with a warm radiance that made even the broken heavens seem dim. The Shadow screamed. The sound no longer carried anger or hatred. It carried unbearable pain. Cracks raced across its colossal body as the golden light forced its way outward. Every fracture released waves of darkness that dissolved into nothing before touching the battlefield.
