I, my fur stained with blood, watched as my pack captured the rogues, securing them with ropes of vines. "Where is your Alpha?" I demanded, my voice a guttural growl, my gaze fixed on the remaining rogue, a tall, gaunt wolf with piercing blue eyes. The rogue, his expression defiant, spat back, "The Alpha of the Shadow pack is beyond your reach, Alpha Xander. You will never find him." My anger flared. This rogue was definitely playing a dangerous game. "You will tell me where he is," I roared, my teeth bared in a menacing snarl. "Or I will make your life a living hell."

The rouge had her by her left shoulder, dragfing her with his teeth. I hears a loud growl from across and saw Asher trying to get to her. But he was already surrounded. I didn't think twice, i shifted mid-air and launched myself at the rouge. The second he saw me coming, he lets go of her shoulder and tried to move out of the way. But he wasn't fast enough and we end up slaming in to eachother. I was up just as fast as i was falling down and pounced on the rouge. The rouge tried to go for Ashers mate again but i swifted infront of him. When he tried to jump at me, i went under and bared my fangs in his neck.

Layna shifted uncomfortably, her unease palpable, as The Shadows closed in, their icy, unforgiving energy enveloping us like a shroud. The Shadows' presence was a balm to my fractured soul, a beacon of hope in the darkness. I knew they possessed the power to revive Roxy, to defy even death itself. The only unknown was the terrible price they would exact in return. I held out my sliced palm, offering them the payment they demanded.

An Alpha growl. “Adrian,” I hiss, then ignore him as Nyx pushes further in the dark passage. Suddenly, Nyx stops moving. My gaze drops and I see it. A shadow clinging to Cassie's leg, stretching long and twisted. ‘What’s that?’ I snap at Nyx. ‘Rogue's shade,’ he growls at the same time as Adrian. I can tell he already knows what that shadow is too. The shadow turns slowly towards us and busses when it sees us. Its claws scrape against the floor, then it vanishes into the air.

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

“So, what about that mark?” Looking at it closely now, it looked like a crescent moon that had fangs on each of its ends with half the face of a wolf on the side of it. “Shadow Rogues…” The five of us said in unison. “Shadow Rogues?” Alpha Rudolf asked in confusion. Wendell nodded his head. “Yes, so basically, you weren’t targeted by just any ordinary rogues. They’re a pack.” “To be specific, they’re an underling pack of a bigger rebellion pack called Silver Rogues. Compared to them, they are far stronger.”

“Since we are in the middle of peace talks, I’ll go easy on you. Admit that you instigated the attack unprovoked on Alyssa. Dump this water over yourself and we’ll continue with our day as if this didn’t happen. “You have no proof, Rogue,” she demanded. “Really,” Kalen said and nodded to Jack, who took the bag of ice and added some of it to the bucket of water. “If you don’t admit your guilt, then I will keep adding more.” “You can’t do this,” Lena insisted. “I’m the Crimson Fang luna.” Kalen laughed as he added more ice. “No, I know the luna of Crimson Fang and it’s not you. “I still have to survive the council first. I don’t know much about your world, but it’s obvious that rogues are not liked. I didn’t realize before that I wasn’t only protecting my freedom, I was also breaking your laws.” I might as well begin using the lies needed to build my innocent image. His eyes stayed sharp, and I was not sure he believed me. “Rogues are usually trouble. Without the stability of a pack, they lose control of their beasts. We were not created to live alone. It affects the animal’s instincts and mind. But you are very different. You are one of the most stable rogue shifters I’ve ever seen who has lived without a pack since a young age. I think you’ll be fine.”

Bryan shifted into his wold knowing what was going to happen. The Rouge appeared to be distant in his mind almost like he was mind linking, then he looked at me and laughed I squeezed his neck harder. "You made your choice and now Roman know. You better hurry to the castle" he hissed the snapped his fingers and the Rouge behind him jumped into action. I didn't give him a chance I took my other hand growing claws and dug it into his chest the ripped out his heart. I drop his body only to be tackled by a another Rouge. He bit into my left shoulder digging his teeth in.

Sinister stated angrily, “Rosalie was a traitor, and she’ll always be. If Grey here hadn’t killed her, I assure you all that I would have.” At the same moment, he took my hand in his and pulled me out of the house with him. His hold on me was tight and angry yet, it lingered in my blood most peculiarly. Walking straight to a car, he opened a Ferrari door with a sigh. “It’s going to be a long fucking night, Grey.” “What did she mean by you bought me?” I asked as I allowed myself to be comfortable in the seat of his car yet, my voice had an uncomfortable tremble.
